NIT Jamshedpur Campus Life review

My main motive to choose this course in NIT Jamshedpur is placements. Faculty:Student ratio is quite low. Faculty members no doubt are well qualified. Some of them are gold medalist at iits. In each six months there are two exams i.e. mid sem and end sem examination.

Top Companies include Atlassian,amazon, samsung,etc. All type of companies visit our campus for placements including analytics, educational sector, electrical and electronics,finance, it consultancy as well as core also.

Our college is known for its overwhelming placements. From 3rd year students are eligible for internship programs and from 4th year they are eligible for placements. Highest package:-83lpa(To 6 students) Average Package:-16lpa Percentage placement:-More then 98%

Before the starting of each semester you have to pay the semester fee which is around 1.1 lakhs when no fee remission is applied and you are not from reserved quota. But most of the students either got full tution fee remission (which is around 62000) or 2/3 rd tution fee remission on the basis of family income.

Urja(Annual Sports Fest) is conducted in the end of year in month november, Culfest(Cultural fest) is conducted in february and many more. But if you are thinking of a great campus life then it is not here.There is central library which contains almost all the required books and journals. Classrooms a plus point are well equipped with ac and projectors. Also there is a virtual classroom in each floor of DJLHC.

First year boys get a double sharing room(in Hostel I) and from second year they got a single sharing room. First year girls get a triple sharing roomin Hostel A. There is a separate mess for first year boys as well as first year girls which is inside their hostel.

In order to get admission into any NITs you have to qualify jee mains with a decent rank. Jee mains is conducted twice a year in month of January and April respectively.
