Overall its a good college but need some improvement in coaching areas.

We celebrate albatross, pattakka, diwali, pongal, new year and lots of college festivals.

I never stayed in hostel.but my friends told me hostal fees is low but food is not good.

They offered only for sc/st students not for others and loan facilities also good.

Campus is very poor and there is no interaction with boys & girls because they followed strict policy and politics they give only importance to education & placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.
