Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was very interesting and thoughtful .They designed the course in such a way that it is useful for our placements. Our course consists of software theory subjects and programming languages.I choose this course because I am very interested in computers and I want to pursue a good career in software industry. The faculty here are very experienced and friendly. As ours is a university there are many senior faculty who have a 10+ years of experience. The teaching method varies from teacher to teacher. Some teach manually, some make use of the power points to give a more clear picyure of the subject visually. The term exams come for every 3 months and they were somewhat difficult but easy to pass.If one reads the textbooks and listens to the lectures they can pass very easily.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are internships opputunities from the third year onwards. Our placement cell provides internships with stipend according to our course. There many good product based and service based comapnies which provided internships with a maaximum stipend of 30k.Our projects like building an App, Or developing a Website .

Placement Experience

3.5

They provide us with a lot of oppurtunities from product based, tool based and service based companies. If a student is from CSE or IT background, they can expect 95% of placements, and if they are from a core background, they can expect 50% of the placements. All you have to do is develop your skills in technical and communication skills, as well as networking. In our placements 15lpa was the highest and 3.3 was the least. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Tech Mahendra. They offer roles like Programme analyst, Graduate Engineer

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is pretty reasonable , we pay around 70000 for annual fees, 75000 for hostel fees, and around 4000 for notebooks, textbooks and other fees. The fees hike is given to merit students and who are financially poor or unstable. There are some scholarships given to students , I dont have anything currently and I didnot get any job yet .

Campus Life

4

The campus life at Andhra University is very vibrant. As it is a university different people come from different regions. The campus is a mixture of different regions , in that way one can get exposure to other student states culture. There is an annual fest "Anusandhan" that happens every year at a high level. It involves tech events , culturals, sports and many more. The central library is very good , you can get every book you need here wether it is related to technical stuff, comic books, articles , newspapers and everything. The Amenities in classrooms involve a board,A projector and an Air conditioner. Here sports are given a high priority, our college conducts sports events across Andhra pradesh , different students attend this event. There are also many clubs where students conducts events and learn the art of managing events.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

To be honest the hostel facilities are not as good as they should be.They are good but not the best.In the room there is a bed and cupboards for everyone. There will be a common washroom for all.The menu is quite good with variety of dishes , satisfying the people from different states or countries.Everyday a new menu wil be given. The Registration process will be done at the college hostel block itself in the wardens office and it is quite reasonable for the facilities given.

Admission

The admision process depends on our eamcet exam rank and also based on our caste. There is no entrance test for this , if the rank is below or equal to the cutoof rank, you are good to go.My rank is 6945 and the cse cutoff is 8k so I was selected. The cutoff changes everyyear based on the rank.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was relevant and covered all the important subjects, whichh was one of the main reasons I choose this course. it prepared me well for real-world applications, and the basics taught in class were helpful for further studies and job needs. Some area like addinf more practical work, updated tools, and industry-based training could improve the teaching quality. The exams were held regularly each semester, and the difficulty level was moderate, so students could pass easily with proper preparation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had been taken computer science and engineering in B.Tech . While I am pursuing intermediate I'm more passionate about becoming an software engineer, so for that reason I had taken CSE . Faculties want to teach us in a understanding way and make us to do gain more practical knowledge Some Improvements want to do in our course , because it mainly focuses on only theoretical part but not on practical part.. so for better understanding of theoretical subject we university want to improve curriculum of our course Computer science and engineering mainly focuses on developing or creating something by using different new technologies. It also connects with the daily use of things in our real world like ATM nd ecommerce etc

PVKK Institute of Technology offers decent campus placements with major IT firms (TCS, Wipro, Infosys) visiting, a proactive placement cell providing CRT training, and good internship opportunities through industry MoUs, though placement success heavily favors high academic performers; typical packages hover around 3-5 LPA with some students hitting higher figures (5-9 LPA+), focusing on strong student engagement in training and leveraging academic performance for better outcomes.
