Very calm and peaceful college. Gvp is one of the college which is very suitable for women.

Dislikes

Nothing.But we are expecting more fests and programs from our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen compute science and engineering because I was so excited to know about all the information about computer and the information behind the working of computer. And there are totally 65 students in our class.All my faculty members are done with their PHD's or M-tech. There will be no difficulty to pass the exam.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 60200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Coming to fees structure, actually fee is 60200, but I got free seat according to my eamcet rank.I didn't applied any scholarship yet.And I'm searching for a good scholarships.I can rate my college to 3 for campus selections.

Campus Life

I have a good and simple college life. But I'm expecting more joy from my college. I think the fests declared in my college will not at all satisfies the students in our college. A very calm and peaceful college for women's

Hostel Facilities

I was in private hostel. And my hostel fee is about 65,000 per annum. And I was fully satisfied with my hostel. And I have experiencing more joy in my present hostel.Quality of meal is okay (not so bad).

Admission

I got eamcet rank 9k and I was qualified in JE mains.So, I think I was eligible for this course. And Coming to my 11th and 12th score I got 95.2%. And in my ssc I got 99%. Coming to reservation process mine was OBC category.

Placements start from 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro visit with decent offers. Average package is good and many students get placed. After my degree, I plan to enter the tech industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

The reason why I chose this particular college is, it is one of the top colleges in my city. As of me I'm an extreme introvert, so I can't mingle between people easily. So joining in a women's college made me less tensed. I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri vidya parishad college of engineering (autonomous), Raghu college, MVGR college and many more colleges in my city. I've got confirmed in only GVPCEW. Yes, i was rejected from the other colleges that I've applied and the reason was because of my eamcet rank. I wasn't able to get a good rank in my eamcet exam so i got rejected by the other colleges. The admission process is simple, we have to submit the required documents. There is no particular eligibilty for our college. Best for discipline and education

I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering autonomous which is our parent college and Pragati engineering college . I have got admission into Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering for women. I have kept option of other colleges as they are autonomous when compared to our college . But now ours is always autonomous. Admission into the college is through entrance test called EAPCET by counselling and the rank we obtained will decide to go to which college .
