Course Curriculum Overview

The course is btech and the stream is mechanical engineering. The course includes fundamentals and important topics to be covered for a mechanical engineering student. The student-faculty ratio is around 2: 45. There is a separate block for mechanical students. There will be a few workshops and separate labs for mech students. The curriculum is designed by jntu board. The faculty is not well but ok. The exam paper was designed by the college management and corrected the difficulty is not that difficult.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 86000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements provided by college management are very less due to high competition. The main companies visit fir the computer science stream, especially coding skills. So few placement takes place namely companies like Hyundai and some other companies visited for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee for mechanical students is around 86000. There is a reservation applicable so SC and ST students get full fee reimbursement and need to pay only the exam fee and additional fee. College management conducts events, and students who are selected for them get rewards.

Campus Life

The campus is huge with a wide number of administrative blocks, teaching rooms, a library, an auditorium, and workshops. There is a digital library and journal section in the college. There is an annual fest conducted in summer. For mechanical students, there are fee number of events most of the events are conducted in technical sessions for computer science students. Only fee non-technical and cultural events take place. And all availability of sports fields but there is no time and management fives no permission to play in class times.

Admission

Entrance to the college and this course can be done by writing an emcaet entrance exam conducted by the state government of through the management system directly by paying the college fee to the college management. Reservations can apply to the sc and ST students. The application dates are intimated by the government and eligibility for the course is passing the 12th standard at the CBSE or state level.

We have many laboratories for practical knowledge. And also they providing other practical labs for us from other course related. They have installed a seperate computer lab or other elective labs for different branches. And also provide different assistants for every laboratories. They teach us well . Make us to make connections as per the circuit provided. They also teach us how they came into work in the real time life. Mainly they teach us how they are applicable to our real life. And also they preserve the projects and make juniors motivate and make them to learn.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internships from 3rd year, 2nd sem or from the end of 3rd year, 1st sem. Some of the notable companies that have visited the college were accenture, cognizant, tcs. I am planning to pursue masters after my degree completion over here. The highest package as per my knowledge is nearly 19 lakh. Most of the students are assured to get placed in bulk.

My view of Kmit

Placement Experience:

from 3 year 2 semester onwards the students can attend to placements without any active backlogs. The campies visited are drawin box,service now, real page,epam etc. the highest package is 44 lpa and average is 5 lpa. 45 per students have placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my father was private employee from electrical background so that i choose the Electrical and Electronics branch. So this branch was learned me technically a lot. The course was very difficult but need a guts to chase this.Here practical knowledge also very important from basics and need teaching very neatly to explain such hard topics like mechanism and electronics too.We wrote our exam into twice at 6months by dividing 1-1 and 1-2 etc.The exam time was 3 hours its a sufficient time to write a student with focus and knowledge on topics.

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
