Likes

Really beautiful infrastructure and a well stocked library
The faculty is approachable and enthusiastic about helping the students
The course is upto date focusing on the skills that the student will need in the work environment

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not fully developed and only a few sports are available
Events are not conducted very regularly due to it being a new campus
Not a lot of choice is available for clubs however as more no. of students come each year the no. Of clubs is also increasing

Course Curriculum Overview

The course for CSE with a specialisation in data science offers a lot of opportunities for the students for their future career paths. There are about 2 students for 1 faculty. The faculty is all well qualified and works to ensure an interactive classroom. The MTT occur every 2 months and is a semester-end exam.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Placement Experience

Internships are offered from 3rd year onward. The first batch has not yet passed out however the placement cell works to ensure the students are prepared for placements. Many students have gotten placed after getting the degree as their goal along with many who want to pursue higher education and are preparing for those exams

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are 2,40,000 per year and 2,60,000 for the hostel. There are no additional fees charged for the placement drive or other campus facilities. No scholarships are available as of yet students are admitted based on their merit number in the entrance exam

Campus Life

The library has a rich resource of books, articles and journals available for the students. The college also provides access to an online e-library. There are various clubs run by the students such as a social help club, and technical and cultural clubs that organise events a few times a month.

Admission

An aggregate of a minimum of 45% is required in PCM to be eligible. The form for application for the NCET exam which is conducted by NMIMS is available on the official site. The admission process is mostly smooth.

Placement Experience:

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

Placement Experience:

For 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements 60% of students are placed. I am placed in college duniya . In my college the highest package is 50 lakhs and average is 10 lakh. After degree i am planning to join corporate and get experinece in company.

PEC from a student's lens

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are overall decent. Some students usually the top 10 percenrt students get high packages north of 15 lakhs and some even get 35-70 lakhs. but this number is very small and most students get around 4-10 lpa. around 60 to 70 percent students get placed combining on and off campus placements.

Ground Reality

Course Curriculum Overview:

The whole curriculum focuses on the cramming power, not on the practical knowledge. Students have to do the tech stack on their own for the placements. Students must do the internship so that he/she will gain some practical knowledge and a chance to gain hands-on experience.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Overall im loving this college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.
