Likes

Hostle life is the best part of this college.
Campus size is about 650 acres. Campus size is also best.
Class size is also decent. There are only 108 students in one class.

Dislikes

College to hostle distance is about 2 km and in first year you are allowed cycle and bicycle
Mess facility is not so much good. Taste of food is not good.
Class timing is 9am to 5pm. Which is more than expection.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to do upsc. So I want time for preparation that's why I chose the chemical branch here. The faculty are decent here. All the faculty are either graduated from IIT or were persuaded to higher studies at iits. Term exams are held after 2 months and semester exams are held after 6 months.

Class Size: 108Course Fees: INR 190000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The general category has to pay about 1 lakh 90k per year. But other categories have more benefits regarding this. If your family income is more than 5 lakh then you have to pay full course fees. But if you have income less than 5 lakh you have to pay only 2/3 of the tuition fees. And income of less than 1 lakh have to pay no tuition fees.

Campus Life

Campus life is decent. There are 2 fest per year. And conducted in the month of November and March. There are about 1 lakh+ books in the library. Sports facilities are also decent. There are several societies which will enhance your inner confidence.

Admission

First you have to appear in jee mains exam. For which you have to opt for mathematics in class 12th. And you have to score about 94 percentile + to get admission in lower nit. And have to score 99 percentile + to get computer science branch in any of the nit. Exams are scheduled in January and May month of the year. You have to appear in both or one of the exam. The best will considered for the admission. The application fees is classified on the basis of category. General category have to pay 800 per session.

Strong Internship Support and opportunity of college students.

Placement Experience:

Students at this university brcomes eligible for cmpus placements from the 6th semester onwards.Well known companies such as Microsoft ,TCS, Infosys ,Wipro, Deloitte, Accenture ,etc have visited the company. 52LPA was the highest package and 6 to 8 LPA is the average package including all the branches.University claims a placements rate of over 90 percent for eligibled students.

The admission process in MANIT is same as in other NITs , the admission in this college is based upon the JEE mains score and rank. after the result jossa and csab counselling takes place and the result of this councelling gives the chance to take admission in this college in Btech degree .
