GLIMPSES OF MANIT

The course which i had choosen here in MANIT is Btech in civil engineering which is a 4 years course . however in 1st year all the branches are kept common and every branch student are present in the class and 10 different sections are made and all students of 1st year are allowed to sit accordingly with the prepared list by the institution. i choosen civil engineeriing as it gives the opportunity for the govt. jobs and PSUs . Faculty student ratio in MANIT is good as in other NITs , students can interact with faculties and they can discuss the ideas and can be free to speak with faculties . the faculties in MANIT are highly expertise in their own fields and also are experienced . also some professors teaches with ppt while some of them explains on board . there are 3 exams held in one year mini test , mid test and end term examination , these examinations covers the syllabus of the taught lectures and also some tricky questions. but it is well enough to pass .

MANIT has a proper setup of T & P Cell ( training and placement cell ) for the placements and interships . in terms of placement MANIT stands among the top institutes as many companies comes here at the time of placement and also the top companies of india as well as abroad also comes in MANIT for giving placement. around 238 companies came for placement in 2022. the overall placement in MANIT is about 90% . thne highest package was of 82 lpa this year of 9 students which was in Atlassian company. students are eligible for campus placmements from 5th semester .

fee structure is well maintained and good enough that a student belonging to the middle family can complete his / her btech degree . the college provides 2/3rd recession in tution fee for the students whose family income is between 1 lac to 5 lac. also the college provides the recession of 100% in tution fee for the students whose family income is below 1 lac . and for students having family income 5 lac and above needs to pay whole tution fee without any recession. also there are various govt and private scholarships a student can apply for like MMVY which is govt scholarship for MP students and NSP which is govt scholarship for all india students also there are Reliance foundation scholarship scheme and FFE which are private based . i am currently in 2nd year of my graduation .

MANIT gives a never forgetting campus life and the teachings during the college life .there are various societies and clubs such as roobaroo , E cell ,ISTE ,QCM ,Vision, Tooryanaad etc . in which the seniors and juniors interaction is at a good level. various events are organised such as MAFFICK, IISF, E summit, Technosearch etc. which makes the college life more interesting and remarkable . also students gets several opportunities to learn from these societies and fests . MANIT contains a library which contains a vast source of resources and books also it contains a digital library which has enough good environment to study . whole campus provides the wifi connection. also it consist of good sports complex and inter nits and other matches are also held . the societies mention above can be overviewed from the instagram handle on the name of society and ckub only .

The hostel facilities in MANIT are good enough for a student that he/she can live properly without facing any problem. first year students gets hostel no 10 c and d which are very good enough and the hostel changes every year here . in 2nd year hostels are alloted as per cgpa in the 1st semester . all the facilities are given to 1st year and also one shop is there in 1st year hostel which has almost each and every thing which a person requires . mess food is same as in all NITs which is good and also it provides the food according to the menu set by the students mess commitee . i was too a hosteler. registration for hostel are done itself at the time of college admission.

The admission process in MANIT is same as in other NITs , the admission in this college is based upon the JEE mains score and rank. after the result jossa and csab counselling takes place and the result of this councelling gives the chance to take admission in this college in Btech degree . MANIT provides the Btech degree in various branches such as civil , electrical ,cse , electronics and communication , mathematics and data science ,chemical and metallurgy , etc . eligibility for these couse in different branches needs the different range of ranks and also with the reservations . the application form for registration in manit can be found on google as smile erp manit and on official site : manit.ac.in one can see the application fees and application dates . reservation obviously has benefits for sc , st and obc students even for home state students . however the admission process is good .
