What Students Say

Likes

Faculties are well educated and have phds
All labs are functioning properly and if any error occurs it will be maintained in a short time
Smart class is provided so it is very easy for teachers to teach with laptops or phone

Dislikes

College surroundings are full of dogs which is sometimes very active
Bus facility is cery bad because not much space for all of the students to occupy
Classroom has fan and light bt most of them are not working

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this because it has a very good scope in future and with my own interest faculties teach us very well and they are well educated faculties are very supportive to students faculties have PhDs and some are assistant professors and professors

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience

From semester 6 onwards students become eligible for campus placement the Average packages providing by company are 25000 almost 50 percentage of the students are getting placed from s5 onwards placement class and test are conducted

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is different for different seats if it is merit seat we have to pay 35000, if it is nri we have to pay 1 lakh and if it is management seat then we have to pay 60000 extra amount for pta, tuition fees, bus maintenance are there scholarships are available for low caste and fisherman's children

Campus Life

Campus life is wonderful but events are less a big ground and a big auditorium is there to make events books are available in library in sports also there is many things for them to practice students are organising many programs and we can participate like woekshops

Hostel Facilities

A room is provided for 3 persons and the food facility is of average quality our faculty is little bit strict and time to enter the hostel is sharp 6 pm the surroundings of the hostel is well cleaned and chicken fish all are available

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

The admission process is through college and application is through online. I got entrance exam and it was keam entrance exam pass is enough to get a seat in our required branch and fees will be different

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.
