Department of history in amu has vast experienced ,skilled , knowledgeable and well knowed in nature. Here student can choose Medieval, modern , ancient , islamic ,modern or tourism history as a specific field to study. Exam were totally based on ugc curriculum.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 12080 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are quite negotiable and affordable. Otherwise you have provided number of scholarship like nsp , state scholarship. And department also give a financial based scholarship to selected students

Campus Life

Department were quite eager to spread knowledge so number of seminars , conferences and exhibition took place. A department has its own library which provide every single book pf era. A number of fest occured on different occasions

Admission

For application process. You have to fill up entrance form which generate on amucontrollerexam.com. around late january. Then around may to june entrance took place . Pattern of exam 70 objective questions (based on medieval, ancient and modern) Then 30 question subjective.

Placement Experience:

The placement here at Sharda was too good. Students start attending the Placement interviews and calls from the last semester. I was personally made into 4 companies and 4 offer letters were offered to me. The average package is 3.8 lakhs per annum and highest was about 11 lakhs. There is 100% placement in every dept. but it depends on students if they want to attend or not. After getting the degree i studied for my PhD entrace and now i am working.

The only specific aspect of choosing this curriculum is I wanna go in a teaching position . I'm doing masters in sociology and it's really help me to prepare well for my future job. In my college the teaching methods is quie good for me and in my perspective the frequency and difficulty levels of exam is not excessive.

Placement Experience:

Placement are not apt as the cirricullum is. but 3-6 lakh per annum package is average you can expect from Amity University. Almost 20 % student get placed in my couse , I can't say of other courses. I plan to work on counselling part and explore opportunities.

Life at JT Girls Degree College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.

Overall this college is a good choice over other colleges if you're not getting main campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics is a very good and a very interesting subject. The curriculum over here focuses from basic to advance level . It starts its syllabus from basic micro and cover almost every field of economics. The curriculum try to give application in real world by adding dissertations, field surveys in syllabus. There are 4 semester in master and in every semester there is an end semester exam (that is of 70) and mid semester exam (that is of 30 marks) . The exam is mostly moderate .

Remarks:

In my opinion Aligarh Muslim University is best for all students, there are many rumors about the university but believe me they all are just fake, there is complete unity in students and no any case of racism, sexism and any discrimination.
