Course Curriculum Overview

I want to pursue research which is why I chose BSc. The faculties here are good, they teach in a very good manner. The student ratio is also limited. All the UG teachers are Ph.D. qualified and have teaching experience of a minimum of 5 to 10 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of studying here is almost equivalent to nothing. As it is a government-aided university. The fees of scholarships add an extra boom to your education. As it is a degree College you have to apply off-campus for jobs.

Campus Life

There are all types of competitions conducted from dance to sports to debate to everything. Libraries here is too big with so many books of different genre, novels of love, horror, and thrills everything is present.

Admission

To be eligible for BSc, you need to have passed 12th with a science stream with an aggregate of 60%. After that, you have to apply for admission through the chancellor portal Jharkhand universities online. There is no entrance required for admission. Admission is taken through 12th merit and you get the benefit of reservation also. After you apply on the chancellor portal, you get your name on the merit list which generally gets released after 15 days of application, and then you have to go to the respective college that you applied for, for document verification. Then after document verification college confirms your admission to the university online mode. You get a confirmation email that admission is done and then you have to pay the admission fee for the first year which is Rs. 2583 currently and then the whole process is completed. The college will message you to attend classes thereafter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

A Transformative Journey : My College Experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.

BITM is known for great placements. Campus placement is good . Average package is 15 lpa. CS -19 lpa Mnc- 15 lpa Ece- 15lpa Mech- 10lpa BITM offer better placement than most of NITs. Many students crack off campus placement. CS highest- 1.86cr MNC highest- 89lpa.

St. Columbas college Is the best in my city

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am chosen this course because mathematics is my strongest subject from all of the others that's why I can choose mathematics. Faculty member of our college is very supportive but some of the teachers are very rude behaviour. Our college teachers are very disciplined about teaching and any project work. My class have 250 students. Every semester our college takes mid sem exam then a viva exam, assignment on every paper, group discussion, surprise test. The exam pattern was based on their classes. The exam pattern is moderate most times.

Positive: Good staff, your work will be finished in a day or in two days. Negative: There are group of aggressive students active in campus but don't worry they don't problem for you until you mesh with them. Also there in lack of proper classes and study in regular order.
