Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is like software engineering. Subjects are almost similar to software engineering and MCA. The exams were not that much difficult to pass and score a high SGPA. I was doing my graduation in BCA and that's why I decided to take this course.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 20000. The fees for this course in GECA are very low compared to other colleges. However, I took the benefit of the TFWS scheme. There were fewer opportunities in college for campus placements. I got placed through on campus.

Campus Life

I did my MCA online mode during COVID-19, So I could not enjoy the college life on campus. However, students were active in online mode. College is okay in terms of social life on campus. But for the B.Tech students, there were branch-wise events.

Admission

I appeared for CET after my BCA and then I took the admission through the CAP round. I took the admission in the TFWS quota. With TFWS I paid the 8000 less fees than the regular fees. For to be eligible for this course we need to be BCA graduates.

Reality of College

Placement Experience:

Placements are Normal in my college like, Freshers get less package like 2.4 LPA but they get placed as I have listened from seniors. Like I am in first year now I dont have much knowledge about this.

Good for near by students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Talking about the courses which chhatrapati shivaji maharaj University provides are good they almost provide all the courses students have choices which course they want to choose. From my perspective all the teachers should improve their teaching method because csmu teachers don't teach students well. Exams which is held usually after one and a half month of college starting is of 1 hour duration and our semester exam duration is 3 hours and exam level is average students can score well in exams.

Placement Experience:

Highest package that company offered was 5LPA and lowest was 1LPA . 99% students got there placements from ASM IMCOST college which is a great thing . Most of the college struggle to get placement . My plans after getting the degree is simple just work and enjoy my every moment

Remarks:

I am glad that I got a chance to share my ideas for IMRD, an institute which nurtured and molded me with great skills. This only made me capable enough to get into a company like WIPRO. I realized how lucky I am; to be a part of IMRD Shirpur, when I put my foot in the industry. Life in GECA, not so good but still you enjoy it.

Due to the reputation of being a government college and autonomous status and also due to city vibes, I chose this one. I was getting private pune engineering colleges but the fees and other expenses dosen't make sense to the features they provide. You need to give mhtcet examand score maybe 90+ percentile to make your sure your place. And cutoff for tech branches of cse, it, ENTC is pretty high. Minimum 95 percentile is required....Read More
