Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is pretty academic intensive and takes a while to get used to after you're thrown into the deep end directly after school. The faculty-to-student ratio is pretty amazing and much much better compared to other private universities. The faculty is also very qualified, at par or even better than at some top law schools in India. Constant assessments are being conducted throughout the course through different means so that everyone gets to perform well even if you fumbled it once.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is 2.25L PA which is almost fine considering the fee some other private universities ask for this course. I have a 25% scholarship which has been somewhat helpful in making the fee more affordable.

Campus Life

4.5

Life on campus is pretty much happening until it's not. You need to be good at managing time cos the number of things happening on campus is insane, there's always some club event some speaker invited or some cultural nights happening on campus. honestly, you can't even attend half of them. We have our annual fest in the month of February/March and it is pretty GRAND(we got KING last time).

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility is pretty good, the hostels are clean and the rooms are reasonably sized. The mess is also pretty good and you get served South Indian and North Indian food served at different counters during lunch and dinner, and you can take as much as you want unlike some other universities.

Admission

The University accepts CLAT scores for its law programs, making the application process a blend of the university requirements and the Clat score. You can also get admission through LSAT and their own entrance test(BMUSAT). They also give scholarships based on your entrance test scores. The application form can be filled out on their official website and it is almost a seamless process because they get in touch with you when you fill out the admission form to help you out throughout the admission process. You can also get fee concessions if you have a Haryana domicile. The admission process is pretty streamlined and the staff is also more than happy to give you a campus tour if you want.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not so useful and good for legal department. Because no one wants to go to small legal firms which don't have potential to make future. Generally students don't prefer to get placed in co-operate firms as it does not gave any practical help in future in you leave them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculam is very nice for the law subjects but for the BA subjects it can be very tiring at times. Like same concepts are repeated again and again in various subjects. E.g- Often what taught in Pol Science is same to what is taught in History, so it can be repetattive on some occasions.

Placement Experience:

A students is eligible to sit on placement after their 9th semester is completed in the college. Law is a profession in which students don't prefer to sit on placements because of the experience and connection that they have made during their time in internship. Students tends to apply for off campus opportunities for corporate or even litigation practices other than in campus placements. But nonetheless the college provides the placements for the students who sits on placements. The amount and packages varies every time. As I will be a second generational lawyer after this course, I won't be sitting for the placement as I have my own plans regarding the profession of law.
