Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this because English Literature was available in this college in the entire city. And faculty was well-mannered and friendly but the faculty was changing continuously thus it made students take time to connect with the teacher mentality. As the number of students in the course was 120 there were 4 periods per week and 4 lecturers as well and each period was taken by individuals respectively. Every Lecturer was a graduate with M.A in English and One senior lecturer was done P.Hd in English Literature. There were monthly internal exams to prepare students for semester exams and semester exams held once every 6 months for 3 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was affordable for students as it varies based on castes. Every year fees were increased by 10% for new admissions and 10% reduced for students who got promoted to the next semester. The scholarship facility is also up to 20,000 (Depending on Caste) named SSP scholarship by the Karnataka Government. Which have to be applied in cyber centres.

Campus Life

3.5

Every year there will be a college fest happening during July and welcome ceremony for new students and send-offs for passed-out students. The library is small but contains every possible book that is required and the students who get practicals can borrow journals using library cards. The classrooms are simple and well-ventilated. Sports & extra curricular activities got their importance by everyone and college has done exceptionally well in sports category every year.

Admission

The admission process was simple as it's a private institute and the college fees were also affordable and it varies on caste categories. I belonged to the OBC category and was easy. The process started by filling admission form and attaching the required documents and passport-size photos for the application and College ID card and a library card.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.
