The SJMV BAJSS Arts & Commerce College for Women, Haveri, Karnataka, is set up by a trust named SJM Vidya Peetha Chitradurg in the year 1979. The college was affiliated to Karnatak University until 2006, and then the foundation of Karnataka State Women’s University, Bijapur and the institution got the permanent affiliation from Women’s University. The Institute is UGC and NAAC approved.The College is focused in imparting knowledge to the women of rural areas since 30 years. It bestows undergraduate education program in Arts and Commerce. The students are given both material and spiritual knowledge, uplifting the poor people of the society to eradicate untouchability.
