A decent opportunity

I chose this course because of my interest in it and to gain and explore the knowledge about IT field. And about faculties, they are really good at teaching and making us understand. Their teaching method is quite interesting because they interact directly with the students and ask for their feedback regarding teaching and any better way to teach them. They also give us many tests apart from IA like class test, quizzes, and many which actually helps us a lot to learn in a better way.

Since I recently completed my very first year of BE l honestly don't have much knowledge about this. But during my first year, we had this internship opportunity provided by a company called Vyu which has its main branch office in Australia and the students who performed very well in the internship got offer letters from the company and they also got some rewards in the form of cash, certificate and gifts.

There are decent placements in college. We get a chance to attend placements while we are at the end of the 6th semester. Many companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, and many more companies visit us and the highest package offered is around 12LPA and the average is around 3.5LPA. Almost all the students get placement about 90 percent. My plans after getting the degree are to do the job and gain some knowledge and real time experience and to know how things work in the real world.

The fee structure is like it's not that high I had to pay government fees and some college fees which are affordable. Regarding scholarships even after completion of my very first year, honestly, I didn't get any scholarship even after I applied for it. There are government scholarships, but we need to apply on time.

Life on campus is normal. And about social life and clubs, we do have them which are musical and arts clubs which are quite on and off. And we students recently started a college radio program which is good. We do have some sort of sports and extracurricular activities, this year we had in June and July probably I guess. We don't have any student's website run by students maybe we will have that in the future.

I got admission via KCET which is a government seat apart from that I didn't take any entrance exam. Regarding the admission process, it was quite easy and simple, just filling out the forms provided by the college.
