Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it is highly paid in the whole world. The faculties are highly qualified and teach very point to point. The exams are from time to time but because of admission process got late we didn't score good marks

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 124000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Tcs, Tesla, Microsoft, Google, and Infosys are the companies that visited and gave internships to the students. There are many projects given like physics, BEE and powerpoint presentations have to make and the teachers give marks.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year sem 1 students become eligible for campus placements. companies like tcs, Tesla, Microsoft, Google, and Infosys have visibility. The highest package gone is 1900000 last year. there are 70-75% of students getting placement on campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my course is 124646 because of Ebc Candidate I will get some fees back as promised by the government. The scheme name is ebc. There are high chances to get a campus job and work in the college.

Campus Life

There are many festivals conducted in the college. The Library is also rebuilt and the whole building is of books and is very vast. There is AC in all classes. The sports committee of the college is best they organise all sports in the college.

Admission

The cut-off for the course I opted for was very high but because of my cet percentile, I got admission for it. The application form and further admission details are available on the official website of VCET. I am an Open candidate so I haven't availed of any benefits but I am going for EBC as the college told me to fill out that form and get benefits

Placement Experience:

College offers campus placement on an average of 5 to 6 lakh per year. Not so good. Companies like MI Tech solution,Q-spider,Latent and many more have comed for placement.Had to try for off campus for better offer.This companies before my admission .I think in future companies with high package will come. Students can seat in campus placement from 5th to 6th semester.

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

Should I go for VCET ??!!

I stay in goregaon and for me travelling in the reverse direction is easier than travelling to other colleges. The timing of the trains and the crowd is also pretty managable. I did apply for various college. KJ Somaiya and Xaviers are the college were I was accepted but according to my comfort I chose this college. As the Fees is also reasonable and the traveling time is also saved, So for me it was a the comfort zone I'd say. And other college I was rejected due to the score was not compitent as they needed it. It takes admission on the basis of CET JEE so the admission process is almost online they do have their institute round on their website for which the result is also given on the website itself....Read More
