MY LIFE AT DDU

I have chosen this course because I have a keen interest in this line. The faculty-student ratio is 1:12. "Minimum qualification of the faculty is to be M.Tech in the respective fields. The teaching method is amazing, all the important notes, PPT & materials are provided. We have 3 sessional exams & 3 weeks are there for preparation between each sessional & finally there is an external exam which is after a month from the third sessional. If One is cleared in all the concepts then it is very easy to be passed.

From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. GNFC, GACL, UPL, DCM SHREE RAM, WORLEY, GSFC, IFFCO, SECURE METERS. These are the main companies that have visited. There are so many offers made from the companies depending upon the students. The highest package is 9 lakhs per annum & the average package is 5 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placement is 89.32 After getting the degree my planning is to get a good job & to do preparation for GATE exam.

For Grant aid student, fees is 1500 Rs. per year. For Selfinance students, the fee is 1,78000 Rs. per year. There are certain scholarships one of them is "MYSY".This is one of the main scholarships which can be taken if one has got 80 percentile above in HSC as well as in SSC and the father's income should be less than 6lakhs per annum.

The annual fest & the tech fest are conducted mainly in the middle of the year. All types of books & journals are available in the library but one has to renew the book every 15 days. In sports, there is volleyball, kabaddi, sprint running & much more. Competitions at the state as well as at the national level are coming to the college. A social group run by students is at instagram named: ddubirds. There is a website for students which is ddu.ac.in.

The minimum eligibility of course is to have passed in HSC board exams for management quota seats & for taking a seat in GIA (Grant in aid), the cutoff should be under 6,000 ( for the year 2023).
