A journey worth sharing

Remarks :

The management is a trust that manages a no:of institution around Kerala. So, there are no mentionable comments.

Entrance Preview :

KEEM , I opted here as it was a college from where I could come and go daily and has been good faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview :

All portions are completed on time. The quality is above average. Focussing on research the institution has an IEDC wing working very actively. It promotes the innovations and research to get fund and also to develop it. Focussing on research it is one of the most reliable institutions around the place.

Internships Opportunities :

No the institution does not provide internships but supports and encourages the students to take up internships.

Placement Experience :

There aren't much placements in this institution but developments are being seen to incorporate placements and recently some students had been placed in one of the campus drives. As of now placements are less. The recent campus drive was conducted by HP (HEWLETT PACKARD).

College Events :

The institution has the most celebrated events than any other institutions around that place. The events include all festivals like Onam, Christmas , etc. And also events like ARTS DAY , TECH FEST all these are very grand celebration for the students. The faculties stand nowhere back they are all with full support. The students along with the faculties blow up the events

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible unlike the nearby institutions. It's around ₹75,000 for a normal student and around ₹1,00,000 for NRI 's But the fee structure is reduced for backward class people and also for the poor people of the society. The trust decides in such situations.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes scholarships are given but don't know anyone in personal so would rather not say. Paying fees by making use of educational loans from banks is supported.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is different for different branches but as in the case as a whole the ratio is 1:1 There aren't any diversity among the sturents. Politics is strong but it is not allowed inside the campus. Workshops are conducted very often by various departments.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are sharing and the hostels are not much occupied . The food is good . The hostel is situated inside the campus itself. The hostel rentals are low and feasible to almost everyone. The qualities are good and sufficient for an Engineering student.

Alumni/Alumna :

They are supportive and are always present in the events conducted by the institution. The alumni network is good

Exam Structure :

Labs and exams are conducted as per the university schedule and the institution strictly follows the university schedule. The institution comes under the university named KTU (KERALA TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY) There wasn't much hardships in the schedule of the exams.

Admission :

After the KEEM results you can either opt to keep this college in the allotment list and you'll get alloted if you satisfy the mark criterion or You can take admission in the management quota which is quite simple. You'll have to contact the institution directly and check out for the seat availability on your preferred branch. If you have the preferred choice you can take the admission by filling the admission form that includes general details you will need some valid government documents as proof of address and photos. You'll have to pay a part of the fees there are fee waiver programs also.

Faculty :

All the faculties are very braodminded and helpful. Most of the faculties include retired professors from TKM(one of the top most institution in kerala)so the faculties are one of the best and well experienced there are also freshers who are comfortable. The students reaching this institution does not use these resources well

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
