Likes

There is a big library where we can access all kinds of books.
All the types sports courts are available inside the campus.
Campus placements are good after they finish 3years.

Dislikes

Environment is little average near the hostels.
The surroundings are not kept so clean and healthy .
The food provided in the mess is not so good.

I chose this course because I wanted to do ACCA and it was integrated with the professional course i.e. Bcom hons with ACCA. The faculty over here are having 15years of experience and even industry experience.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Internships Opportunities

For my course i.e. Bcom hons with ACCA there are many big MNCs coming for the placements and even the Big4 companies are going to hire us. There are positions vacant for analysts, auditors, managers, and finance.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placements once they finish three years of this course and the campus provides us the campus placements from different companies. Almost 90% of the students are getting placement based on their skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for Bcom hons with ACCA is around 130000 to 150000 and for hostel, it is around 130000. You get a 15 to 20% scholarship if you get above 85% in your class 12th board exam and you will get 10% if you get from 60 to 75% in the board exam.

Campus Life

There are many activities being conducted here and even fests are conducted once every semester. There are many clubs in which we can join and participate. Many books are available in the library. The campus has all the sports grounds which it requires.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels on the campus cost around 140000 and there is a cot, table, chair, and an attached bathroom or common bathroom. They give food four times a day and the taste of the food is average. Registration for the hostel is available in the link which is provided on the official website itself.

Hostel Fee: INR 224100 per year

Admission

The eligibility criteria were to attain a minimum of 75% in class 12. The application form and other details are available on the official website itself. Estimated dates of the application will be around January and fees will be around 150000.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

From Classes to Campus Life: Why I Chose ISME

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Placement Experience:

we had placements coming from fifth semester, so as Accenture, EYTCS, Morgan Stanley, et cetera, the highest package was for five lakhs and the lowest was 2,50,065% of the students are getting placements after getting degree. I am planning for employment.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

I tried JEE but could not secure a good enough percentile to get into prominent NITs. MIT Manipal seemed to be better than any of the cet colleges with only the course fee being slightly on the higher end. I applied to SRM and VIT, both of which i got accepted into, but opted out as it seemed like both of these colleges rely heavily on student intake and are money minded. MIT Manipal has an exam called the MET which is based on a jee scheme (+3 -1). In my year the only marks required to secure a seat in the college was the MET but the scheme has changed and now board marks are also taken into consideration. JEE percentile can also be considered if the student secures above 95 , but most students take MET and are given ranks according to it....Read More
