Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to set my career in the marketing field so I chose MBA Marketing. The faculties are highly qualified and the teaching method is excellent. I was a regular student so passing the term exams was not so difficult.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the courses is not so high, the annual fee is 200000. Gitarattan International Business School is a budget-friendly college, they provide a scholarship to their toppers every semester. They help students to get scholarships from universities.

Campus Life

Convocation is an annual fest organized in October. An Alumni Meet is organized every year. Fresher and Farewell is also celebrated every year. The expression club organizes lots of events and a huge library is available.

Admission

My admission was based on the CAT (Common admission test ) which is administered by IIMs after the score was revealed I got admission to Gitarattan International Business School Rohini on the basis of my Rank of CAT.

Interview Experience

My admission was based on the rank that I scored in my CAT (Common Admission Test) exam. So there was no group discussion. There was only PI which was done with the head of the admissions and HOD of the MBA department.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Placement Experience:

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is mostly aligned towards Economics but you don't need to have prior experience in the field, you can start afresh and still excel. I picked this course specifically for the Analytics part of it.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Truth about jims kalkaji

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package

Overall. the interships and placement cell is very active and helpfull.
