Remarks

The process was quite simple through JOSAA. It was a 3-week long process. The application form was on the official website. To apply to JOSAA you have to take JEE exams to get admitted into IIT, NIT, and GFTI. I got a rank of 6372 in general category in JEE adv.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is well qualified and the course curriculum is pretty good, there can be little improvement made in the teaching methods which could make the students understand in a better way. There is no much pressure in academics over here and the 1st sem exams are not that hard, you can manage them as you are used to JEE preparation.

Internships Opportunities

I don't much about the internships and companies cause I am a first-year student, but our seniors told us internships are held while 3rd year running. For placements around 300 companies will come to our campus.

Placement Experience

According to 2022, the highest was around 55LPA and the average was around 20LPA which is quiet. There are multiple MNCs that come to campus. The campus offers great opportunities to students. The percentage of students who got placed gradually increased year by year now its around 90%.l am planing to get a core job in Electrical.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite high when seen as a govt clg, but it justifies it as it gives more opportunities and placement.ROL is pretty good.l am not enrolled in any scholarship but I enrolled in fee remission which reduces the fee by 66%. As I am in the first year I do not have much idea about the campus jobs but the average is quite high. and I know many seniors who bagged a good package.

Campus Life

My life here is pretty good. The campus is huge around 950 acres and full of greenery. Sports facilities are also good but need a bit of improvement, as it is a new campus I understand that it requires some time. there are many clubs over here that are doing great but need a bit more funding. senior are friendly over here and help in academics.

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. I applied for geophysics and mining in ISM Dhanbad. But I filled my current college and branch above them. Also these branches are not very popular among students but as I didn't scored very well in my JEE advance examination, I had very few choices. To get into an IIT you first need to clear JEE mains cutoff and then clear JEE advance.
