Manit Bhopal review

The course is good and classes are regular but the faculty is less in our department so the faculty: student ratio might not look good. Professors are well-qualified in their respective fields. Exams are strictly as per schedule. The difficulty of exams is medium and not very hard to pass.

Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, cisco, jpmc, amazon, etc various companies offered internships with an average stipend of 1 lakh per month varying from company to company. Most roles offered were for Software Engineer roles.

You can apply for on-campus internships from the 5th sem and jobs from the 7th sem. Most big companies such as Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, etc visited the campus. Circuit branches are allowed in almost all companies. Last year average went around 15 lpa and the highest was 56 lpa for electrical. Around 72% got placed.

The fee is 69276 for 1 semester for those with income of more than 5 lpa but scholarships are available and if you are eligible for mmvy all semester fee and the hostel fee is covered. Only mess fees are to be paid. For those with income between 1 to 5 lpa half semester fees are applied and for less than 1 lpa no fees only hostel and mess charges.

There are two fests held every year one in each sem, twchnosearch which is a technical fest in the odd sem, and Maffick, a cultural fest in the even sem. Books are available in the Library but mostly all reference ones are taken within 2-3 days of starting of sem. Various societies and clubs are here for different extracurriculars. The sports complex is also here and students can participate in inter nit games.

Rooms are quite small like most government hostels there is no balcony in the girl's hostel. Usually, rooms are two-seater with basic facilities, and plan is provided. The meal is not great. Hostel fees are 36,000 for a year and mess fees are 25,000 so not very cheap but still less costly than renting outside. Most girls reside in college hostels.

I applied for manit through josaa and got it in the last round. I got the seat under ews female reservation. Josaa counseling dates were available on the website. The admission process was easy and simple to follow.
