I am okay with the overall package that the institute has imparted on me. And making me who I am present. So I don't regret my decision of taking admission. A Muslim minority engineering college which is having a great legacy and Alumni base both nationally and internationally

I have taken the entrance exam which is conducted by the college itself. Alternatively, there is an option of taking BCECE i.e.through BIHAR COMBINED Examination. Although the exam conducted by the institute is not very tough as compared to BCECE. You just need to have a sound knowledge of basic physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

The college has an yearly exam system. And every year you need to give exam of 8 papers regardless of your stream, which in total makes 32 papers in four years of your engineering at this institute. The college is affiliated to Magadh university bodh gaya.

As far as internships are concerned the college does not provide much support except in fulfilling the required document criteria from the college side.

Placements of the college is not up to mark. Students mostly go for off campus recruitments. Although the placement committee is working hard and in recent years there are few companies visiting the college. Apart from that the college has a finishing school that gives training for the student to acclimatise themselves for the recruitment process. They take mock interviews and other campus recruitment training

Although the cultural and technical festival are not so common at maulana college of engineering. Still there was a cultural event held when I was in my final year of college with the name AAGHAZ 2k16. The college has hosted many events in that tech fest like sports events, quizzes, games, debate, writing competition, engineering model presentation to name a few. The college football team has been one of the best in the whole city of Patna. They have been indefatigable everywhere they have played be it IIT,NIT, BIT .so there is a little bit sports culture also here at this campus

The fees structure is quite feasible as compared to the investment in terms of knowledge. The plus point with the fees structure of the institute is that it includes the fees of bus structure. Which is mandatory for every student. Also the college bus is very decent and spacious enough to carry students and there is a separate bus facilities for both girls and boys.The college bus covers the major route of the city of Patna

Yes college assist in many government scholarship loan facilities like minority welfare facility or Kalyan vibhag for students from backward caste to avail scholarship. College also assist in getting loan from banks. Which also depends on students fulfilling the criteria from getting a loan from the bank.

The campus life at Maulana Azad college is very great you will surely make some of the friends which you gonna cherish your whole life like I have made some of them which are because of this institute only. The gender ratio is 55:45 male: female. Although the college is Muslim minority college there are many non-Muslim students in this institute and all of them live with quite peace and tranquillity and the tolerance level here is itself an exemplary for many other institutions in the country

The college does not have any hostel facility. And the student has to themselves arrange all such accommodation and lodging stuff. For. Fooding student can opt for tiffin system. Which is very frequent in Patna, they can also hire a maid or a cook both of which are very easily available in Patna or else if u know cooking then u can put your hands into it. Most of the room rent is between 2000-5000 depending on the type of room and location. You can also share your room if you want to save some bucks

Although the college is quite old and this year its almost 30 years of it's standing with such a huge alumni base the college has failed to engage the pass out seniors with the current batches, who could have shared there experience's with the student. And I think in my 4years I have never experienced college taking any such initiative to engage the seniors of this institute.which is really bad from the management point of view if this college

There are two periodicals that are must for the students to take. Each of which contains 15marks. Most of the department are having well equipped laboratories. And also has lab instructor who are taking care of these equipments. In the laboratory there are many experiment that are done to get a sound knowledge of what has been done in the classroom. As most of the lab exercises are done on that basis only

The college releases its admission form somewhere near the result of intermediate examination. The details of which can be easily checked on college website. i.e. Macet.net.in After that u need to give an examination conducted by the institute. And then the merit list of selected candidate is published. After which the college asks you to bring all the required documents. And after successful verification of which you get admission

One of the best thing about this institute is its faculty. The faculty here is highly educated and many of them are doctorate from IIT,NIT, and from other institution of great reputation. Especially the faculty of my branch i.e. mechanical engineering is very nice.
