What Students Say

Likes

The freedom which the campus gives you to express yourself.
The campus life was quite good.And the faculty were also good.The Teaching assistants are good.
The placements are also good,like many MNCs will come and select a good number of students.

Dislikes

Infrastructure was not That good with respect to other IIT'S and Department Building's were also Old.
Hostels are Bad except the MANDAKINI HOSTEL (First Year) .The other Hostels were very bad Doesn't Have a good facilities like washing machine and drinking water.
Their are only limited amount of sport fields for some sports like cricket and tennis. And we can't play for fun like there is no other Proper sports facilities rather than the main ones

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because Iam enthusiastic about how Ships Work and how travel happens across Such Huge Oceans. And to Study about The Oceans. The faculty Student Ratio Was Around 19:1. The Faculty were Highly Educated Intellectual People. Mostly they are from Tamil Nadu. Many of the faculty studied in Various IITs.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were quite high compared to previous years. Laptop loans and Student Loan are available. There is an SBI BANK on the campus itself so that will be helpful. Scholarship is also there but for people whose parental income was less than 1 lakh. \(<1Lakh). And Reservation candidates.

Campus Life

The Annual Cultural Fest was called "SAARANG", Which will be held in the month of January. It is also the Largest student-run Fest in Asia. The Annual Tech Fest was called "SHAASTRA", which will be held in the month of January. It is also the Largest student-run Tech Fest in India. Classrooms were Spacial and Good. Library Facilities are Good. There are many varieties of Books are available in the Library.

Admission

I Have Written the JEE MAINS exam which was Conducted by NTA, then I have qualified to write JEE ADVANCED. Which was Conducted by IIT GUWAHATI THIS YEAR (2023). THEN I have scored decent marks. JEE MAIN Application Form, Fees, and Dates were Available on the NTA Official website. And JEE ADVANCED Application Form, Fees, and Dates were available on the IIT GUWAHATI Official website. Reservation also plays a good role During Councelling.ST, SC, and OBC Candidates will get a reservation. The Cutoff was low For Reservation candidates in comparison with General Candidates. JOSAA Conducts Counseling regarding the JEE MAINS AND ADVANCED Exams.

Rmk collegeof engineering and technology has strong placement with excellent percentage. They will train you from 1st year for the placement. The average package is 5-6Lakhs per annum.and the highest pacakge is 66 lakhs.

My Life inside VIT'V

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

IITM BS DEGREE - a game changer in distant education

I choose this college over the another colleges because it is the best degree degree over the BTech from low level or tier three tier four colleges, I was having many options for T3 colleges BTech CSE, but I chose this because I think it's the best I apply to SRMS Bareilly University all the colleges I was confirmed, but I chose this college because it was providing me latest curriculum and data science is very new in this. The admission process for this degree is like if you will register in a term, you have to pay. Thousand rupee registration fee.
