Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is really good. My main reason for choosing BA Hons Finance & Entrepreneurship was my interest in the field of Finance and Entrepreneurship. Since my school time, I wanted because an entrepreneur and start something of my own in future. By pursuing this course I'll definitely start my own start-up and look forward to become a successful entrepreneur. The faculty is very professional and qualified , they have a brief knowledge about the subjects they teach and have an expertise in that. The teaching method is very good , they interact with the students and there's an open communication between the faculty and students during the lectures. The term exams happens in the end of the sem and if you pay attention in the lectures then they are easy to clear.

Internships Opportunities

4

I didn't opt for the internship through college, I did one internship with my own contacts from outside. But overall the internship opportunities are good and you can get into good companies which help you to build your CV.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of the course is Rs 4,00,000 per annum and overall it is affordable. I'm currently in my second year so haven't got any job on campus. They also provide financial assistance to the student. They do provide scholarships on the basis of your class 12th result.

Campus Life

4.5

The life on campus is really fun and enjoyable. Biswamil is the annual fest that is conducted every year in the month of October. In that there are music nights, DJ nights with various artists and many food stalls are also their. Almost all the books & journal are availaible in the library. There are several amenities in the classroom with your smart board in which the professors teach the students , the classrooms are fully air conditioned. There are almost every sport in the campus with horse-ridding also. To promote sports there are various leagues for each sport where students can showcase their talent in sports. There are various clubs on campus that are run by the senior students for the students. You can choose the clubs of your choice from your interest.

Hostel Facilities

5

The rooms are pretty spacious. The meals are provided in the mess and overall the taste is really good and reminds of your home taste. The registration of hostels happens through the bidding process and the hostel fee is Rs 150000 with food.

Admission

The admission process was quite simple. When you open the college website you have to choose the course and then apply in it. After that there is an admission fees of Rs 3000 and then after filling out the admission form you will get a call for an interview after you complete the interview round you will have to apply for the JSAT entrance exam, the JSAT fee is Rs 1020. After appearing for JSAT you will get your result if you are selected or not.

Other Applied Colleges

Amity University | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] + Bachelor of Education [B.Ed]

I didn't opt for this college because I found better oppurtunities in OP Jindal Global University and moreover the fields in which I'm interested they offered a course for the same. So that's why I didn't opt for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum was highly relavant to my academic and career interest which offers a strong balance between the theroatical concepts and real life implications. one of the key factors that influenced my decision to choose this course was that there are wide varity of subjects available to choose from which allowed to talor my learning according to my interest. But the time of exams are tough for us, but the two-month break actually gives us time to soothe the tiredness and actually make us want to come back to campus.
