- Great peer group most of your batchmates are smart and clever in what they do you see alot of variety of them and can learn alot form them
- Nice campus it is actuall not that big not small it is perfect
- Gerat proffesors are there to guide and help you if you want to pursuie higher studeies can help since they have lot of repute connections.
Dislikes
- Category could have been removed such taht we can actually get the cream of the crop the best peer group
- As it is converted to iit and wasnt from the beginning infrastructure is old and could have been way better
Course Curriculum Overview
because it is electrical engineering and it was the safest or the farthest I could go from computer science there is no problem with 1:9 it is quite high and should not be the criterion by which we judge a college it has highly qualified teachers nothing less to expect from an iit as scheduled and moderate difficulty and hard if you didn't study at all.
Internships Opportunities
As of electrical you have Axxela a comany i dont know that properly but has given placements to only two of our seniors from electrical engineering if you are a girl then Amazon and other big companies have some schemes which you could use to your advantage and possibly grab an internship of 50k.
Placement Experience
it is from the beginning of the 3rd year we are eligible to get an internship and from the mid of the 4th year are eligible to sit for placements google amazon microsoft all of these come but give around 20 lpa on average and as for the highest packages they offer are around 45 lpa and avg is around 20lpa 70 per cent approx get a placement preferably the highest package our college has witnessed in past decade
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is comparatively less than other engineering colleges in India it is around 1.3 lacs. I guess for the open category and even less for the students who have scholarship and some sort of categories like obc or sc st.
Campus Life
Srijan and concetto are the annual fest and tech fest respectively and they are conducted around 3rd February to 5 February and as of the Concetto the tech fest is 13 to 15 October approx it has east Asia's largerest library some have ac most dont they are well and comfy. every sport you can imagine is there all the possible clubs are there and are very interesting, to say the least.
Admission
I had to write the Jee Advanced for which you had to clear the Jee Mains which i had and you need to get a certain rank to get into the college you desire in this case if you get around 8000 ranks in the open category in Jee advanced you will get into iit dhanbad in electrical engineering in joasa(joint seat allocation authority) it is around 3000 or 1500 open-category students you get to go to the best colleges even for the farthest ranks I would like it to give less propriety / benifits for reserved students.
