Likes

The Campus is Extremely Good , And the environment is very ecofriendly.
There are many different clubs for students to develop their skills .
The teaching faculty is also very supportive .

Dislikes

A lot of walking distance in summer days.
Classes are very far from hostel so we need to get up very early in morning.
Hot water is not provided every morning for taking bath.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well defined for engineering students with all practical exposures given at industries. We were given training for appearing in interviews for companies both on campus and off campus which made us more confident. The faculties are helpful. The exams are easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided by the University from the intern cell where we have to show the department, campus, offices, etc. to the new students who are willing to be admitted to the institute. They also provide office work to experience the work of it.

Placement Experience

After the 4th Semester, students can sit in the placement cell and also depending on his/her skills. Companies like TATA, Reliance, Snapchat, Google, Apollo, L&T, etc. The highest package offered is 18 lakh per annum and the average is 7 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total cost of study per year is rupees 1,78,000 which does not include hostel and food expenses. If the percentile is above 80 and the family income is less than 6 lakh then you can get the benefit of the MYSY Scholarship.

Campus Life

The campus is really beautiful, huge, and vibrant. Every year a tech and non-tech festival is organized giving exposure to students in management. The clubs are also formed and one can participate in their different interest areas. The library is good with a good number of books available.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fee is around 95000 including room service, laundry, and food. Meal quality is also very good and hygienic. The menu is followed every month and the food quality is also very good. For going out we need to take a gate pass.

Admission

Admission is taken on the basis of management quota. The application form was taken from the admission cell and the fee for the same is rupees 500. There were no reservation benefits on the basis of caste. The admission process should take place in one place.

My honest Experience at Ahmedabad University

Placement Experience:

Placements at Ahmedabad University are structured and well-organised. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and the placements cell starts preparing us earlier through workshops, mock interviews and resume sessions. A good range of companies visit the campus, including consulting firms, it companies, finance and analytics roles, start-ups and well-known multinational organisations. The number of offers varies each year, but most visiting companies recruit for roles like business analysts, software developers, marketing associates, finance trainees and operations roles.

Affordable Govt. College with practical experience

Placement Experience:

Placement at GEC Gandhinagar are decent but not as strong as the top engineering college in Gujarat while a few repeatable companies visit the frequency and variety could be better many students with good gpas and project work seek your decent job either through the collegial or by actively applying on their own for those who dont get campus placement the college still provide a solid foundation you can pursue higher studies take certification course or enter the IT or core industry thought of campus jobs overall the experience prepares you sufficiently for the next step But its wise to Proactive about your career.

Placement Experience:

Their is an placement faculty in my college, many companies like torrent, birla, tcs etc and many more companies visit our college. Also our college provides internship for students. The average salary pakage is about 3 lakhs which is less and about 65% of students are placed every year. Highest pakage of my college is about 8lacks per annum. About my plan after completing degree is that if college place me for about salary upto 6 lakhs then i will place otherwise i will go for preparation of "GPSC" exam and set the carrier their.

It's really very helpful for new students to choose the college.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

Campus placement is available in our college Most of students get plavement it means 80% to 85% students get placement After 3 year student get internship and then student get placement . Lot of companies come for placement like Tata, Reliance etc... Our college placement ratio is Lowest placement package is around 2 Lakh per year average placement package is around 3-4 Lakh per year And Highest placement package is around 6-7 Lakh per year.

What it feels to be a Parulite

After completing my 12th Boards I applied to a bunch of colleges and gave various exams to get a seat. I took the JEE exam as I wanted to go to IIT to pursue the same degree that I do now but unfortunately, I couldn't as I didn't get enough score to be selected for the advanced JEE exam. The other government colleges that I had applied to had a certain quota reserved for students from different regions and since I had to shift to a new city altogether that proved to be a hurdle. One such college that I had previously applied to before Parul University was the Maharaja Sayajirao College in Vadodara. I chose Parul University because I had good things about it and their placement scheme was well-known among people so I opted for this college. The admission process is pretty simple. They brief you about the fee structure for the course that you want to take on your first visit and give you a campus tour.
