Likes
- There are multiple clubs and groups were people with different thoughts and ideoligies could come together.
- The time table for every semester was made in such a way that not too many theoretical classes are there but also sports and practical lab classes also included.
- The faculty was very experienced and friendly with the students.
Dislikes
- The exams were always sudden since most of all my semesters were during covid-19.
- the exam pattern was quite arguable since only few questions were asked from topics which were taught for more time.
- Coming to the parking space it was quite congested although the institution has large empty spaces were vehicles could be parked.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course was Mechanical engineering and i have always been intrested in this field. Coming to the faculty:student ratio there are about 10 professors for every 100 students, In that 10 professors almost 3-4 of them had a Ph.D related to this course. there's a student portal where students give reviews about the professors teaching style, which improved there teaching accordingly with the students needs. The exams were conducted every semester and they were quite difficult i have say because many topics were covered during each semester for each subject and only few questions were asked during the exam which was not easy, since a lot of portion had to be covered.
Internships Opportunities
There are total eight semesters. In those 8 semesters intership opportunities start from third semeter itself. And Minor projects Major project with two phases, almost every semester has time in the schedule for interships and projects.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was on par with Universities in the city , since our college had all the equipment and faculty to more than the universities. The fee was around 141K for me and coming to scolarships they will cover almost 90% of the fee if you have reservations. The placement drive had so many companies and many were placed during the campus selections.
Campus Life
The anuual fest was Scintillations and its was conducted between feb-march of every year. There are losts of clubs from dancing to singing, drama, poetry, etc. There's also a big library and also a E-library which helps in keeping the students updated. Coming to sports every sport is played and every year around 3-4 times there inter-college completions which are conducted between colleges in the city. Special mention to the Tennis and Basketball court which are world class in infrastructure and in amenities.
Admission
The admission process was quite simple since i got admission through JEE-Main score. the minimum JEE score required was 80 percentile which is had. To apply through JEE score we can directly find a link in the college official portal which will take us to the application portal were we can apply. There are no reservations for admissions through JEE score. Few improvements i wanted from my time of admission was updates about my application. During my time there were only few updates given and if i wanted to know about my application status i had to call to the admission's office. Apart from this everything else was good.
