Roorkee college of engineering is the best college. Good infrastructure, nice environment for study.Good hostel facility. Very good placement and nice infrastructure. It works on the overall development of the child. If someone is looking for B.Tech M.Tech B.Com.Bsc Diploma course must consider this college. Very nice and cooperative faculty.

I have given JEE Mains exam and got Roorkee College Of Engineering through councilling. After councilling I have submitted my 10th and 12th marksheets and got regestired myself in Uttrakhand Technical University. Currently I am persuading my engineering course from mechanical branch. I have chosen mechanical engineering because it is an evergreen branch and scope for this branch never ends.

In mechanical engineering their are a lot job opportunities. You can also apply in civil services examination as the examination has mechanical branch as an additional subject. Roorkee College of Engineering focuses on practical knowledge instead of academics, their are regular industrial visit held by the college. Teachers are highly qualified and makes each student innovative. The only drawback of colege is that the college is located at 5 km away from city with a lack of transportation.

Yes, College provides internships in nearby companies but at very less stipend. Most students have to find internship on their own. But there are regular industrial visits in good companies . Their are seminars from professors of IIT Roorkee

Their is only one technical fest which helds for 6 days in first week of April. Students from near by colleges also take part in it. And their is only one sports event held in first week of November. Their are many games like football, cricket, badminton, table tennis and many more. Small events like debate, speech and quiz helds every month.

The academic fees is very less and affrdable and the hostel fees too. Acadic fees for fresher is just 83,000 INR and after first year is 78,100 INR. Hostel fees is only 45,000 INR.It is affordable, alright. Its a government funded college after all.The tuition is Rs. 25k per semester.

Their is scholarship of Rs 5000 given to students those who scores 75 % and above in semester exams.

There are a lot of extracurricular in RCE The facilities are great. every time provided the labs technical and practical knowledge workshop etc. The Course of the curriculum is strictly based on recent and past trends in engineering. It is research oriented. In our college, even B.Tech students have many research paper like M.Tech students. The course is also set in the motive that it serves students for their other exams like psu's, gate exam and other state gov. Exams.

I am residing in the hostel and everything is fine. Rooms are two-seaters, three seaters and for seaters. The room is well furnished and 24*7 electricity is available but you have to pay for your electricity bill, college charges nearly 6 Rs per unit. There is also a Gym on campus. The hostel is neat and clean but the architecture is not soo good because there are only a few rooms which get sunlight. The hostel is surrounded by trees and fresh environment.

There is a good interaction between the students and faculty and also a good unity among students of the same class. Every aluminum contributes to the development of the college. But a there are a few people those are the liability for college and on there parents. And only a few students affects the climate of college negatively.

College timings is from 9:20 to 4:45 in which you can not skip any lecture and only 1 hour interval break is given to students . It makes students too much tire. Their are two sesional examinations in each semister and nothing beside that.There is always the fear of exams, alright. There are two pre finals every semester, and a semester final at the end. So its not all chill, but also there is sufficient gap between the exams.

Above all the experienced and dedicated faculties guide them on every step.The teachers are well qualified and experienced. The labs are well organized and equipped. well Qualified Faculty, Roorkee IIT Ph.D. holders faculty @RCE Again, I've not met all of the faculty, so its difficult to review all of them. But the ones I've met are good enough. They are experienced and interactive as well.
