- It is the largest campus in our state and most beautiful campus with greenery you can roam in the campus and you will get more freedom as it is govt clg you can enjoy and there will many resources like library and professors will help you if needed
- Seniors will help you a lot and you can enjoy with them your btech life will be beautiful and you can enjoy in the fest
- You can prepare for any exams and do any course because you will have more freedom you have to maintain only 75 percent attendance overall and if it below you have to pay 2000 to write the exam
Dislikes
- Hostel facility is little bit bad more number of people in a room it is conjested
- Less placements when compared to other IITs and NITs and highest avg package is also less
- Sometimes some professors do not teach properly you have to study your own and pass the exam in that case
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in electronics. And ece students can choose software or hardware The faculty-student ratio is 1:8. Almost all the professors have done their PhDs in recognized Universities, NITs, and IITs, and the teaching method is good but they don't cover the entire syllabus. You have to study your own. There will be yearly two sems and four mids. You can easily pass the exams even if you study just one week before the exams if you have regularly gone to classes.
Internships Opportunities
In Medtronics Mathworks my seniors got internship opportunities with 40k per month And they worked as a fresher and one student got a job offer in Drdo some students have done drone projects in Chennai under sae club.
Placement Experience
From the 6th sem placements start Optum, oracle, cognizant,MathWorks,Medtronic. Highest package 24lpa avg 6lpa. 70percent students placed I will go with placements Many students in our clg prepare for govt jobs,gate and some go for masters
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees is 50000per year, Hostel fees is 18000 per year, And if your income certificate is below 2lakhs there will be no tuition fees and hostel fees You will get an Epass scholarship. And many scholarships will be available like nbsp, ONGC,ffe.
Campus Life
There will be only one fest yearly. College management will not take care of students manage all the programs you can enjoy with your friends and seniors. There will be two days one day tech fest one day cultural fest. There will be three libraries University library, the engineering Library, the department library Classrooms are spacious but not as that infrastructure in iits nits. There will be sportsmen you can participate in indoor games or outdoor games, There will be many clubs like IEEE, IETE, photography club,emc2club dance and music.
Admission
There is an entrance exam for this college.It is TS eamcet. my rank was 6k out of 1.5 lakh students.I got ece branch in this college under bcb girls category. The cutoff for Osmania College for the ECE branch is approximately 13k in 2022. The application process is a little complex.
