Remarks

All in all the college is the best in the business. The management here is superb and I don't have any regrets in pursuing my education from here.

Entrance Preview

I scored 126 marks in AIEEE 2013, but I wasn't getting the branch of my choice, so I chose sharda university.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course structure is so good. I studied around 46 subjects in the whole course which included the knowledge about CAD, marketing strategy etc that are a boon to the overall course. The practicals were also present and were taught under the guidance of great professors.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, my college provides internships. All I know is that the internship is given to the medical students as there is a hospital of my university.

Placement Experience

4

Placement is also good here and a lot of job opportunities are given to the students. Companies like Future Group, Audi, ITC, HDFC Bank, HSBC Bank, Dish TV, Cargill Foods, Axis Bank, Wipro, Grail Research, Capital IQ, Naukri.Com, Saint Gobain and HCL, to name a few, visited Sharda University Campus for MBA 2011 batch. Also tech mahindra came for btech students.

College Events

5

There are a lot of cultural, technical and sports events which are held every year. The greatest of them all is the CHORUS, which is celebrated for 3 days usually. A lots of celebrities are invited to the fest who make the students feel relaxed and chill in the campus. Sports fest like OJASVAT or you can say THE SHARDA CUP is also held every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I think the fee structure is a little expensive for a middle class guy but yet adjustable. For B.Tech it was ₹1,52,000 PA for me (tuition fee only) For MBA it is ₹10,00,000 for the whole course. I don't know the exact fee structure for the other courses, but I know its quiet feasible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Students loan facility is available here but I don't have much knowledge about it. Scholarships are given on the basis of academics as well as sports. Like National players are given 50% scholarships in the tuition fee, also the players who represent the University at zonal or national level and secure good positions are given up to 75% scholarships in the tuition fee.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio is balanced here. There is no diversity on the basis of caste, religion, sex, race or ethnicity etc. Everyone is treated equally and everybody enjoys the campus life here. Friends are friends no matter what their caste, religion, sex, race or economic status is. Everyone has a right to live.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

As I know that the hostel food here is the best in the whole NCR region. No other hostel serves food better than the sharda university. Also the hostel fee is quite feasible as compared to the facilities they provide here. Free wifi, playgrounds, gym, cafeterias, food court, 24/7 electricity etc.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni or senior students are very helpful and kind by nature. They are always ready to support the juniors and stand on their behalf. They help them in the academics as well as in the curricular activities. They also participate in the events as a participant or as coordinators.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is not at all hectic.I found it chilling and smooth. Labs are held twice in a week on a regular basis. So there is nothing like hectic in the schedule. Exams are held twice in a semester, the Mid-term exams (MTE) and the End Term Exams(ETE).

Admission

They organize a test for the admission process which is called SUAT( Sharda University Admission Test) for the admission process. I scored 49/50 in the test and then my interview was held on the basis of my marks. After that I was selected and also they noticed my AIEEE marks for the admission process.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty here is highly qualified and they posses very high knowledge in their respective fields. Some IITians and NITians are also present who are the best in their business. They show keen interest in their subjects and always available to teach new things and help the students.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is not that good. Hardly 2-3 companies come here for foodtech. But there are job opportunities for this course. It is a growing field. Outside the campus, if applied in any company, there are chances of selection based on the skills and knowledge one has related to the field
