JUET (An honest review)

I chose CSE because of its industry demands and also the several off-campus opportunities. The faculty-student ratio is nearly 1:30 or 1:40 something around. Most of the faculty are PhD holders and that is good I'd say because it depends on person to person how they perceive them. Exams are mostly held every month within 4-5 days and they're not so difficult to pass. There are no mid-semester and end-sem exams over here rather there are T1 T2 T3 P1 P2 (tests and practicals).

From the seventh semester onwards, the companies will usually come from recruitment. There are several companies but a few of them are Amazon, Darwin Box, Honeywell, COC, ZS Associates etc. The Highest package offered was around 44.14 Lakhs and the average package is somewhat around 6 to 7 Lakhs. Overall 85 to 90% of students got placements. My plan after undergrad is to be an SDE in Microsoft.

Well, there is no such fee hike but it is quite an expensive college and not as affordable for everyone. For financial assistance, it completely depends on your caste and family status so that you will benefit from several govt schemes. For Jobs, you will have to wait for the 7th semester, several companies will come and they will have several recruitment rounds.

The name of the technical first is D'equinox which will held accordingly as per the plans There is not fixed time but it will held around the month of February or March. The annual tech fest name is Tachyon which is held in the month of January or early February. The library is extremely good. It contains hundreds of books related to different engineering streams and general topics magazines are also there in the library. The extracurricular activities are of different kinds and will completely depend on different multiple clubs and how they organise them there are several Sports Club such as badminton football cricket etc. and they organising different kinds of extracurricular activities related to their Sports. There are several clubs that are been run by the students themselves there are technical clubs and a youth club.

The admission process here is quite simple. You can apply here on the basis of your class 12 percentage as well as your JEE mains percentile. Just go to JUET.ac.in and fill the form in the admission section or something like that over here and wait for the offer letter from there.
