Remarks

Management could be kind of weak as it's a government college. Pretty good provided you utilise all the facilities. I love the library here. You need to prepare for the pg exam study properly. listen to your lectures.interact with the teachers.

Entrance Preview

I took AP EAMCET. It's a mcq based test based on the intermediate syllabus for the students of Andhra Pradesh. Since this is a government funded college you need to get good rank below1000 atleast to get a seat here.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum goes according to the med schedule of the year prescribed.

Internships Opportunities

Since it's a med school there's going to be no such thing as Internship. You get to write PG examination afterwards. Regarding stipend you get stipend for house surgeonship I have no clear idea about the amount. I'm sorry for that.

College Events

4

An annual college day gets celebrated for like a week where different cultural activities get conducted. And a sports meet within the college, inter college and state levels too take place. Other festivals like holi, new year and birthday parties can be celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. Its about 16,000 rupees per annumsince it's a government funded college. Excluding the hostel facilities.they cost around 5000 i guess.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah scholarships based on good inter marks based on sports activitiesand for those annual income below par are given. You need to meet at the office and shbmit your scholarship required certificates to attain it.

Campus Life

3.5

Its fun dude. Female to male ratio is high as can be expected in any med college. Hostel parties, new year celebrations, birthday celebrations are held. Sports sports meet labs - one per day other competitions on college day week.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel's like how any average hostel would be. A room for 2 or 3. Sufficient space for a bed and one cupboard to organize your things. The Mess is fine home made food will be delivered.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors could be pretty interactive and ragging levels are very low. So you need not fear that for freshers. It's a fun filled experience. Enjoy it. Communicate with the seniors. They provide valuable tips on how to study for exams and all.

Exam Structure

The schedule i feel is quite liberal. Not a too hectic one. Exams are announced earlier,so you can keep in check with them. Labs change every year based on subject.but you have hospital postings in the morning and one lab in afternoon.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty could be quite serious but approachable enough at the same time. Remember it's all up to how able enough are you to use the faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. But the person who studies on their interest only gets good marks. The timings for the exams are not so bad but are difficult to complete the given syllabus in time.

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.
