Remarks

Only good, nothing is bad in this college. Overall Good campus, Adorable Infrastructure, 100% placements everything is about IIT. It is one of the topmost colleges in India

Entrance Preview

One entrance exam JEE to take admission in IIT institute. I have prepared myself for the JEE exam very well and got good marks. Then on the basis of JEE marks, I got a chance to enter IIT. After that one interview was conducted and I crack this. Finally, got admission to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is nice. Metallurgical engineering is extremely diverse and offers high kind of career opportunities. The branch is good for people interested in science, technology, and engineering. Metallurgical engineers produce, buy refines metallic products. The college focuses on every aspect and was provided this career opportunity to students. The college focuses on practical learning very much. Research is a big part of IIT institute.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Internships are also one of the main parts of our college T&P activities. Companies like Facebook and ZS technologies offer internships with up to 25000 per month stipend.

Placement Experience

The placement of IIT is on top compared to any college. IIT students got placed 100%. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Asus, Snapdeal, Badgley, and Goldman Sachs visited the campus. The highest salary is 2 lakh per month offered in IIT.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this college is quite good. You need to pay 67,786 Rs.for for general and OBC categories. For another category, it is 22000 Rs. It is affordable for high-quality education and placements.

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

I did applied for iit delhi also as it was my home town but got IIT Bombay as it was much better for me because of placements and brand value. so i did fill for other college but yes iit bombay was my 1st preference so i got it and acc to my rank i was gettinng into iit bombay very easily but to be on safe side i added more option . so i have cleared jee advanced to get here . for mtech you have to pass gate . the admission iprocess is impler only its mostlyy digital.cutoffs of jee adv is obviously very high due to number of student who wnt to go in iit and number of studnet who get selected there is huge difference so dropper increases ....Read More
