The college is located to south of Goa and we get a fresh Breeze of oceans which makes us to feel the entire world and I feel are colleges the right place for me to explore myself

I have joined at NIT Goa ...By the merit in SC category of JEE MAINS. Examination.. There was no interview process for admission into the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course have chosen is electronic and electrical engineering which is very nice and I am very much interested in power and transmission lines of electricity which is a fascinating subject and a big thing to be done in our day to day lives for Electricity Transmission

Mostly students pursue their internships in there third year of BTech and the average stipend amount will be around 10000 and to say more particularly depends upon the company

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.

In my college NIT Goa, students are eligible for campus placements after sem 6 or the start of 7th sem till the end of the 8th semester The highest package is 44LPA and the average package is around 6LPA to 10LPA

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is okay okay but not that great . Mech and civil don't have that much package avg of around 6 lakh and i guess only 10-11 got placed .. and 16-17 was eligibile for it. For eligible to placement you don't have any backlog in any subject and some minimum cgpa required too

NIT goa

I was getting MBM jodhpur I got something with related to computer science which was really good branch there and it's a really good state college of rajsthan but I choose nitg because I like mechanical more and I was getting this in a NIT. So I went for it and it's okaish here .. placement is not that great but have to work so hard to get one . I gave JEE mains to get in here and i had rank of 49 k ,I was getting SVNIT civil too but I liked this more (the SVNIT is a better college if I was getting mech there)...Read More

Visiting the interiors!

I gave jee mains in 2021 and got 95 percentile and got NIT Goa. This may sound genuine as an admission process, but it is not. This is because of reservation of home state students. In my class, there are students who even don't have 90 percentile. And not only this, more than 50% population is from Goa in the college.
