An year of experience in IIT Bombay

I chose this course due to its high demand and better scope as compared to other departments. Faculty: The most important thing, are all friendly and you may find many profs and under them, associate profs, and then Teaching Assistants which we can find as 20 students over 1 TA in my course.

There are a lot of projects which I have done and as I am a second-year student, I will be getting internships. I want to go for an internship in a gaming and game developing company. Hope they get me in such that I will learn a lot.

Placements are very good. The highest is 3.7 cr and the average is 18LPA for core and 30LPA for tech. Companies are really good, and thousands of them recruit. The placement record is around 99 percent and those who don't get placements are those people who want to go for Civil services.

There has not been much hike in prices of the institute's study, but yeah, the mess fee has increased a little bit over two or three years I am still studying there, so I can't say about it. But yeah, on-campus internships are really high-paying.

There are no annual fests. there are three fests conducted namely Techfest, Mood Indigo, and E-Summit. They are 3, 4, and 2 days long respectively. They provide opportunities and fun to the campus students and outsiders. Books, There is a central library and every department has its own library. Central library can be accessed only for a limited time but department libraries can be accessed 24x7. There is a ground in all hostels for sports and a central sports complex which has hockey cricket football, outdoor basketball courts and a football turf. There are a lot of indoor sports complexes. There are cult, tech, and sports clubs. you can join them all according to your interests.

There are 17 hostels in total and there is no fixed size of room in every hostel. There are box rooms in some hostels and box wings in some which means the room/wing has a bigger size. Toilets are there. Meal quality is far better as compared to other institute's hostels, but can't compare it with the parent's food. Registration is easy, they allocate the room to you and you just fill out the form and find the hostel room and number.

Obviously, as an institute of national importance, you have to clear a competitive exam, which is Joint Entrance Exam Advanced for B Tech, DD, and BS degrees and UCEED for B Des. Application fees for JEE Adv are available on jeeadv.ac.in Reservation is about 20 percent for girls and 80 is open to everyone. The admission process does not have any requirement for improvements according to me.
