Course Curriculum Overview

4

My professors were good and most of the time they gave us good and intellectual lessons which were beneficial for us to make us grow. Almost all of them were well-versed in the subject and were polite enough to make us understand the conceptual element of the subject. The exams are on time.

Fees and Financial Aid

My first-year Fees for the bachelor's In science (chemistry) were Rs 3,422. After 2nd and 3rd-year fees were Rs 2,827 and in total estimated was Rs 9,076. The fees overall were feasible and the number of facilities was very much which includes the library and labs. I didn't receive any scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

The extracurricular activities and sports like the library are fully digitized and in 2015 the digital library was arranged for the students and faculty. Apart from this the photocopy corner and computer and Wifi system and washrooms facilities are provided.

Hostel Facilities

3

There are a good number of hostels situated alongside the institutions. And the good thing is their price is under control. The hostels are so close to the institution which helps the students to reach the college without any extra expense.

Admission

After completing my 10+2 with Physics, chemistry maths. I was sure about the B.SC course and for that, I applied directly to this college and eventually got my name on the merit list. That was indeed the best thing.

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

I currently in 2nd year, so I don't have much idea about placements that college offers. But have a brief idea on the besis of the seniors. My collage provides internships, and the average package is also good. From the sixth semester one can become eligible for internships. My plan is to study further, Msc and PhD.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
