The admission process should be done online. This course eligibility is 12 th pass in science, arts, and others. There are no reservations benefits in this college. But in this case, college is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a student of Bsc botany. Our faculty have good teachers but our lab is very poor. There are no facilities for human bones and Codabar. Our college has a good chemistry lab and physical instruments. So please do something.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has a scholarship program and fees are free for all because of the West Bengal government. West Bengal government provides a scholarship program for students who score 70%. So no problem and now students' credit card is available.

Our college has good game facilities like cricket football hockey etc. Our college has a very very big library and available so many books on any subject. our college has a good hostel. There is a good environment for all students.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
