I have an interest in Mechanical and research. The faculty-student ratio is very good, 1:10. Most of the faculty possess doctorate certificates and are well-educated in their field. The team exams are conducted for 40 days roughly. But they are moderate in toughness.

IIT Goa, though relatively new, has been making significant strides in terms of placements and employability. Students become eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester onwards. The institute has attracted renowned companies such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, Amazon, Microsoft, and many more. These companies have made substantial offers to our students, with the highest package touching impressive figures, usually above 20 lakhs per annum. The average package also ranges from 7 to 10 lakhs per annum, depending on the branch and profile. Our placement percentage has consistently been above 80%, showcasing the employability of our graduates.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah, there are a lot of scholarship or stipend options in IIT Goa. Third, fourth, and Ph.D. students who select to participate as teaching assistants get 5k monthly. Placements are very good in IIT Goa, with a percentage of 98.

Campus Life

Cultrang is the annual fest of IIT Goa. The biggest event of IIT Goa, where a lot of celebrities come to perform. Cepheus is the technical fest. Books and journals are available in various varieties and more number of copies. All types of sports are good to play here, Aquatics indoor and outdoor. Meraki, Orion, and panache are a few clubs of IIT GOA. They have their own Instagram handles.

Admission

There are no eligibility criteria to choose Mechanical engineering at IIT Goa. The application form and fee, every detail will be available on the JOSAA website. I have no reservation criteria available for me. No, the admission process is simple.

Placements are good like averages of chemical is 12 lpa and there is good placement percentage ratio like 75 percent and if in case of no placements further study is possible option as bits have connection to many best institues in the world.

BITS Pilani, Goa Campus- A road to an interesting life.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Bits Goa good or not

Placement Experience:

There is a dept for placements. 70 to 80 percent people get placed woth average package of 20 lakhs per annum. Mostly ot depends on interviews and how good internship you get in 3rd year. Cg plays a very imp role too.

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.

Trusted experience of Iit goa

Many students has the doubt of selecting best branch or college, I would say going for the branch yeah it's true that high collages have high placements but it's doesn't guarantee uhhh to get a job uhh must have the best knowledge so gain the best knowledge is best course instead of low branch and then doing other courses. Completing engineering from IIT is like a dream come true for every engineering student. IITs not only provide good placement but learning and the exposure and opportunities that we get is unimaginable. I also wanted to be part of IIT and I really worked hard for the GATE exam but frankly speaking, I am an average student and my GATE score was between 755 to 860 according to me ad my preference is IIT Goa was the best option.
