Course Curriculum Overview

4

Since I was interested in computers from my school days, I opted for this course. The Faculty ratio is proper, there were 13 teachers in our department which had 133 students. Qualification-wise, the faculty gives you no chances to worry, since most of them have completed their Masters and the most important thing, half of the staff has gained Teaching Experience of more than 10 years. The Term Exams are conducted as per the MSBTE(board) schedule and they are not very difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships are without stipends and a duration of 1.5 months is covered by the internship. Students can also pursue internships in the companies they want to. Some of the companies that offer internships are Nibodh, Static Int, and Rely.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible for campus placements after completing the 6th semester. At our time, we were offered the placement at Mahindra company. The students who want to avail job after completing Diploma instead of pursuing Bachelors degree can apply for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college are INR 86000 rupees, which gets reduced to INR 48084 if the EBC facility is availed which includes INR 38116 for Tuition Fees, INR 8768 Development Fees, and INR 1200 MSBTE examination fees. Through EBC the scholarship I availed was Shree Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shishyavrutti Shulk Yojna, That too I came across through one of the office staff who manages the scholarship processes. The college offers placement after course completion in some companies, For Example during my time at the Computer Branch we had a chance for placement in Mahindra. A separate section, "Placement Cell" is made for placements.

Campus Life

4

The college conducts its annual fest named "GOONJ" in the month of February and well known Tech Fest, "TANTRAUTSAV" which consists of a lot of competitions like paper presentation, model making, poster making, and many more in the month of March. All types of books are available in the library as well and the college consists of a Book Store. All classrooms as well as laboratories are Air Conditioned and classrooms, have smart boards installed in them. Sports competitions are conducted on a large scale, a wide variety of sports are played including indoor as well as outdoor sports at the college level as well as the college participates in the Sport competition at Zonal Level. A Social Group run by students is the ISTE committee.

Admission

The Cutoff was around 92% for the Computer Engineering branch, I was eligible since i scored 89.40%. The process for college admission is done through Cap rounds, so the students should apply for those 3 Cap rounds. No such improvements to be made in the admission process because everything was very systematic and good.

Placement Experience:

Placement strategies is different for every department. Like most computer engineering students wants higher education. Mechanical, civil and automobile students not that much interested in higher education. Teachers of placement department are very active in there work they gave us more information and counseling like who have to get higher education and who gave to be placed. Students fills a google form which os about students placements, according to that they know how many students are interested in placement and higher education. Companies like TATA, VPRO and other are came for campus in our college various tests and interviews are taken then salary and other things are discussed. Many students get pass in interview. The ratio is about to 30% students get placed every years from campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very curious to know about machine how it works and how they are made by a factory which is why I have chosen Mechanical engineering field. if it is about faculty ratio there was 1 teacher on 50 students including DIPLOMA, BE, MBA and ME. All the faculties were highly qualified all had master's degrees in their hand but there was a lack of teaching skills some faculties have knowledge but they do not know how to transfer knowledge in a simple way to students. in my opinion many there was a semester exam every six months and they used to be very strict with students at the time of the exam they did not give any freedom to students in the examination hall. about passing percentage, only 60% of students passed with all clear without any backlog.
