Course Curriculum Overview
I love to study literature that's why I chose English Hons. The faculty of this college is really good and there are a lot of students studying in this college in various courses. The professors are highly educated but not much punctual. Passing exams is easy here.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are generally like content writings and journalism field students gets the chance to do internships which contains both paid and non paid. Stipend generally depends accordingly but it can start with 3000 to 5000 monthly depending on the work
Placement Experience
The placements are good as the students get chance in internships also paid and non paid both after semester 6 which is after three years course of an hons subject or general... mostly in the field of journalism students got chance in that area.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is minimal here and affordable for the middle class families. Annually it's within 10 thousand which we need to pay in different semesters. This college provides Kanyasree benefit, SVCM and NSP scholarships as well.
Campus Life
The college organises fests, sports, freshers and we get to enjoy all the festivals. It has a gym inside . We have a seperate seminar room which has a grandeur ambience. Overall its quite good but the infrastructure can be improved more.
Admission
My admission process was completely online and the cut off for BA Hons General students was 60% and above and my percentage was more so I got chance in BA English Hons. The application form has been found in the college portal itself and it was convenient way for admission. I'm a general candidate so I didn't avail any reservation benefits.
Other Applied Colleges
Bethune College | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Psychology)
I didn't get chance for admission as seats were all full.
