Course Curriculum Overview

Mention why did you choose this course: because it has a good career option. A brief about faculty: student ratio is 1:12 Qualification of the faculty & review of teaching method All faculty members are well qualified and their teaching method is good. timely were term exams and how difficult was it to pass 2 internal exams were conducted after 1.5 months of starting and semester exams were conducted 6 months after starting. Exam questions are a little bit tricky but if you want to pass the exam then you just need to follow all the classes only.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 8500 per year

Placement Experience

From which semester do students become eligible for campus placements in 4th year probably. Name of the Companies visited & no of offers made Oracle, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, Jio, TCS etc Give details of the highest and average package as per company and profiles offered 4-5 lakh probably. Your plans after getting the degree Mtech.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a government autonomous college so the cost to study is very low. Students who get reservation benefits are sc, st students. The fee is affordable for middle-class families.

Campus Life

freshers party organised in 5th September. Availability of books & journals in the library always sports & extracurricular activities on campus happen in the month of December. There are WhatsApp groups run by the seniors to help the 1st year students.

Admission

Eligibility of the Course You have to secure good marks in your HS Exam. application forms are available on the college website. application fees of 500 for each course. application dates are available on the college website 10 days before the WBBHSE result. No improvement you want to see in the admission process: it's OK.

I've always found economics to be really interesting and thats why I choose to persue it. I wanted to dive deep into the actual concepts and workings of the economy and understand how the world works from an economist's point of view. Sadly the curriculam doesnt bridge the gap between theory and real life. It focuses heavily on textbook and not how the world works.

The Physical Chemistry faculties are the best I got, that influenced me to carry forward my research carrier in Physical Chemistry. Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

The reality of SCC

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.

I love my college.

I applied at pravat kumar college at contai,purba Medinipur and get confirmed admission but the infrastructure of that institute is not so good but our college have a quiet impressive faculties and infrastructure. I was not rejected by any college I applied.
