Campus is good and it is located in the city
No issues of transportation(although few trains available)and connectivity issue
If you're resident of jharkhand then you get e Kalyan scholarship through this college

Dislikes

Can't take admission without counselling
Boy's hostel not started yet which is a problem for me

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I was interested in the field and I am very passionate about it. Although I am a new student at this college I can't provide much information. But the strength of our class is 45. Exams are conducted by vinoba bhave university itself.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is 60k per annum, but if you are new admission then you have to pay caution money and deers for registration and I'd card. For scholarship, you can apply for eKalyan if you have any cast other than general.

Campus Life

Campus life is good along with some fests. Campus has an auditorium and also grounds are available. As I mentioned before I am new so I can't provide much information, but the campus is good it also has a library.

Admission

For this course, you should pass 12th or should have done a diploma. If you're 12 passed then you have to give jee mains exam and then do your counselling through jceceb for admission in this college. If you're diploma passed you should give the engineering entrance exam (lateral entry) conducted by jceceb and then do your counselling for admission. There are reservations available for SC, St, obc, ews twf as per the seat matrix.

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Great college if the money is not a problem for you!!

Placement Experience:

Placements are good for core branches here at Bit mesra, as compared to other colleges, about 90% students got placed as per I know from seniors, the highest core package is around 20 LPA, main top recruiting companies for core chemical are reliance, jindal and many more!

Honest college review without AI

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem students are eligible for placement. Name of the company I forgot but nvidia amazon comes each year and take some students Paypal offered 4 students 28 lpa and Swiggy gave 2 students 35 lpa Nvidia gave 2 students 25 lpa Highest package data is not out as of now Avg is good this year I guess it's was 12-13 lpa Percentage is I guess reality 60/150

Raw and real side of NIT JSR

Placement Experience:

One of the major advantage of my college is it's placement percentage and average package. For my branch placement percentage is our 80% and average package of my branch is 16.5 lpa this year. Highest package last year was of 1.44 crore from a company rubirik. I plan to work in a semiconductor manufacturing company like Texas instruments and qualcomm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.
