Remarks

My overall college experience is very good enough for me to become a good doctor with great skills. The paper correction will be very tough . Our college is a completely ragging free college and we are very proud of it because in most of the medical colleges the students suffer from ragging. The college will be strict and they don't allow the girls and boys interaction in the college. They take us for medical camps for every two months.

Entrance Preview

I got 4300 in eamcet. This exam is conducted by the ap government and this exam is very tough and needed a lots of struggle to get good rank. The college also considers NEET entrance exam which is conducted all over INDIA and the cut off rank is around 40,000 to get seat in our college. I am very interested in MBBS and from the childhood my only aim is to become a doctor. This college laid a good path for me to achieve my goals. The college i chose is according to my rank and their will not any courses in MBBS.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college is affiliated to NTR university, Vijayawada. This is a 5 years course in which 1 st year is a nine month course and the other years will be for one year. The exam papers are set by the colleges from other states and even the correction will also be done by colleges from other states. In a day we have half day practical session and the other half day will be of theoretical learnings. We have body dysection classes and anatomy classes where we detect dead body parts. In our college we have research center where new viruses and diceases are detected.

Internships Opportunities

After our four years each and every student have to do internship for one year in small villages and some other hospitals which will be called as the house surgeon period. Here we will have a practical interaction with the doctors during the times of major operations. The stipend provided will be different for every year. We complete our internship program in maharaja hospital itself and the stipend will be definitely provided. The building fees collected by the college will be given back as stipend for us.

Placement Experience

3.5

In MBBS placements will not be provided directly because we don't have companies to visit as in engineering. After our course of study we have to attend an exam and our qualification will be decided by that. Many of the students go for higher studies like MD which provides specialization in particular part. Some of the students go for thier own practices in thier locatilities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The MBBS colleges in eamcet collect small amounts of fees and it will be 11000/- per annum. In our college donation seats are also available but the donations collected will be very high of about 50 lakhs. The donation seats will be a large amount and it is not affordable for the parents. In first year they take 40,000/- as a building fund and in second year they take 25,000/- as a building fund. The hostel fees will be around 40,000/- per year.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of our college is very experienced with lots of qualification with PG degree. Many faculty have completed their pg degree in various reputed universities and came to our college. The faculty are recruited with large qualifications and skills. Some of them even posses PhD degree's. The minimum experience of the faculty is around 10-15 years. Some of the staff are much interactive but some of them don't because as many senior faculties are present they don't much interact. During the practical classes the staff are very strict and even a small mistake done will be given a large punishment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. But the person who studies on their interest only gets good marks. The timings for the exams are not so bad but are difficult to complete the given syllabus in time.

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.
