Remarks

The overall view of college is good. The infrastructure is excellent and well designed it has all facilities like library, sports ground, basketball court, etc. The most important thing is the faculty. Their teaching method is very good. The placement is very much good. It has more computer labs to browse after the college hours which makes us to improve our knowledge and to get updated to this day today competitive world. It is the college which has excellent hostel facilities and food.It is one of the best colleges I have seen. It has 100% of job assurance.

Entrance Preview

MHT-CET (Engineering). Initially I got Electronics and Telecommunication engineering at Nanded but at 5th CAP round I took a branch change and went to Electrical branch in GECA.No interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical engineering has more scope and government jobs are found very easily to electrical engineers. College also take reasearch in Electronics.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided. I'm not joined any internship till now but I will try this vacation. It will give 4 to 5 thousand per month.

Placement Experience

Placement is good as it is government college. TCS, Mahindra Rise, L&T infotec, Bosch, Videocon and many companies visits here. The average package is about 5-6 lakhs.

Fee structure is same throughout the entire Maharashtra Government affiliated Autonomous Institution college. I got the seat of TFWS so it is free of costfotr me

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is so poor quality. No facilities are here as they gives in the brochures.So it should be improved. Otherwise overall is all ok.

Exam Structure

In a year the two times semister exams are taken by the college. As the college is autonomous result displayed in few days. Practicals also held regularly and it gives a lot of enjoyment to us.

Faculty

The college provides very good and friendly experienced staffs.The staff is qualified but the lectures are not run regularly. It should be regularly.

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

Life in GECA, not so good but still you enjoy it.

Due to the reputation of being a government college and autonomous status and also due to city vibes, I chose this one. I was getting private pune engineering colleges but the fees and other expenses dosen't make sense to the features they provide. You need to give mhtcet examand score maybe 90+ percentile to make your sure your place. And cutoff for tech branches of cse, it, ENTC is pretty high. Minimum 95 percentile is required....Read More

I applied to a few colleges like VIT mumbai, DY Patil Akurdi and Thadomal, i didn't get admission in thadomal and DYP, but i did get admission in VIT Pune, i picked GECA because it's closer to my house.
