Overview of Mnnit Allahabad college life

the course structure is quite efficient and supportive for the students. Some Faculty members are very kind and of helping nature, while you may find some annoying ones as well. All the faculties are having great qualifications, mostly from iits. Exams are held two semesters per year and are quite strict in nature. You have to give the examination honestly.

The internship session starts in the fifth semester of the third year. Many tech giants like Microsoft, and Tata, visit our campus for providing paid internships up to a 1.5 lakh stipend. But most internships are available for computer science students.

Campus placement starts from eighth semester. Many companies like Google, Microsoft, tata, and many more visit our campus with their offer. There were nearly thousand offers in last year campus placement. In the 2023 placement, 1.35 cr is the highest package and the average package for b.tech is above 20lpa. Around 90% of students are getting placed. I will also look for better offers in campus placement after my b.tech.

The fee structure is around 96000 per semester for students having an income higher than 5 lahks, while those having an income less than 1 lakh have to pay only an institute fee of 31000 and get a complete tuition fee waiver of 100%. Different scholarships are being provided by many NGOs and the institute itself, also by the up government and Nsp through the Central government.

The annual fest of mnnit is called Culrav held in April. It includes many cultural competitions like nukkad, stage performances, singing competition ,art,etc. Tech fest is called Avishkar which takes place in January mostly. The library is well equipped with so many books for every stream. Mnnit Library is on two floors which is enough for student around 1000 at once. Most of the classrooms are well-equipped with air conditioners and projectors. Sports facilities are still under development. Courts for badminton, tennis, and basketball are available. There's is one big ground for athletics and cricket and a small ground for football and hockey. There are various sports and cultural clubs. Musical clubs, dramatics clubs, and several folk dance clubs are present.

Admission is done through the percentile of Jee mains every year which has been taken around March every year. Application fees may vary every year. There is a reservation for sc/st, obc, and ews candidates.
