Remarks

overall it was not very bad not good. but it was govt college. so i can consider it. practical and campus prepartion was not enogh, need much improvment. reguler faculties of all subjects must be present there. managment system must be more supporting and active.

Entrance Preview

i cleared LET ( lateral entry test) after passing diploma to get admission in 2nd year of B.E.. although i got a 1 rank in LET on state level, thatswhy i could get any college of state. i was always excited to study in jec jabalpur because of its history . i has been very passionate and intrested in electronics items and gagets since school days, thats why i choose ece in diploma and degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

experiance was not good in starting because of lack of some faculties in my branch. there was not any exposure in practical feiled. no any reserch was taken by college. i got a just one project to make in 5th semester. i got elective option in subjects of last year. i did choose dsp over wireless.

Internships Opportunities

no not at all. i didnot get any internship from college. we could apply for it ownselves. but i didnt apply because of some personsl issues.

Placement Experience

4.5

it was very good, although i was not selected after interview. but most of my classmates were selected same day. in my branch 40 % approx student were selected. it was TCS who hired 180+ students from college. after that headstrong, capegemini ,IBM, MUSIGMA, etc.

College Events

2

acctually i was not involved in sports or cultural activities at all. so i cant tell much ..but several fest, sports , several singing , dancing, drawing, writing competetion were orgnized in a year. that were outstanding.

Fee Structure And Facilities

that was the biggest thing that favoured me and all students with week financial condition. i paid 33,000 / annum (appx.) in two installment for rest of 3 years. exam fee, project fee, and some expenses were there. overall it was much less than other college.

Fees and Financial Aid

yes , they provide scholarship and other accesroies to obc, sc, st and handicapped etc. i belong general category so i didnt get anything . no it was needed.

Campus Life

3

it was good undoughtly as a oldest coolege of mp. honesty i didnt get what i could get..but that was ohk . quite supporting but much interactive.

Hostel Facilities

3

no i was a local guy. i didnt know much about hostel. but yes there was nothing different than others govt. hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

yes, alumini are always supporting to college in several ways. although i was not presrent in alumini meeting when happended.

Exam Structure

no not at all.. infact we were waiting to get a chance to be in lab. classes were reguler but not hactic..

Faculty

3.5

in my department faculty was came to from IIT ,to engineering graduate. all were quite honest and transparent with their job. i would mention one teacher's name mr. PRASHANT JAIN for his teaching style and experince. but some of the teachers were delivered below the expectation ,specially in practical lab.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.
