Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I'm interested in the subject matter. I think the curriculum is well-rounded and provides a good balance of theoretical and practical knowledge. The faculty members are knowledgeable and experienced in their fields. The faculty: student ratio is small, so it's easy to get individual attention when needed. The teachers are well-qualified and use a variety of teaching methods to keep the course engaging. The term exams were timed well and not overly difficult. Overall, I'm happy with the course curriculum and faculty members.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There are plenty of internship opportunities available at our college. Many top companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon offer internships to students. During my internship, I was given the role of a software developer, and I worked on a project that involved developing a web application. The internship experience was great, and I learned a lot from my mentors. The stipend offered was also quite good.

Placement Experience

5

I am yet to complete my course, so I'm not sure about placements, but my seniors have told me that the placement process starts in the 6th semester. Many top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google visited our campus, and a lot of students received offers from these companies. The highest package offered was around 30 LPA, while the average package was around 7 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is quite high. After completing the course, I plan to pursue higher studies in the same field.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is reasonable, though there is a slight hike in the fees every year. The cost to study is manageable. The college offers scholarships and financial assistance to students who meet the eligibility criteria. I didn't get any campus jobs, but I know that the college offers a variety of on-campus jobs for students.

Campus Life

4.5

Life at the campus is great! There's plenty of social life and clubs to get involved in. The annual fest is usually held in February and the tech fest is usually held in September. The library is great, with plenty of books and journals to read. The classrooms have plenty of amenities, including projectors and whiteboards. The sports facilities are great, with plenty of opportunities for extracurricular activities. There are plenty of social groups and clubs to join, including a website run by students for students.

Hostel Facilities

3

I'm staying in the hostel, but my rented accommodation is pretty good. The room has all the necessary facilities, like a bed, table, and chair. The meal quality is good, and there's a wide variety of food available on the menu. I found my rented accommodation through a friend. The registration process for the hostel is simple, and the fees are affordable. The locality where I stay is pretty convenient, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

Admission

The admission process was fairly easy. I didn't have to take any entrance exams. I had to fill out the application form, pay the application fees, and submit my transcripts and essays. I don't know much about the cut-offs. I found all the information I needed about the application form, fees and dates on the college website. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits. As for improvements, I think it would be helpful if the college provided more information about the admissions process on its website. based upon my rank in EAMCET our admission for courses will be given .for courses we will have some cut-offs based upon our rank we will be placed in one course in college

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
