Course Curriculum Overview

I had a great passion for electrical engineering which is why I choose it. The student and faculty ratio is very nice. We have five faculty members for the 23 students. The teachers mostly take BTech but some of the teachers have completed their MTech as well. The exams are held on time and with strict procedures.

Class Size: 23Course Fees: INR 36500 per year

Placement Experience

From the end of the 4th semester, the company starts to come to the college for campus placement. Companies like tata power, tech Mahindra, etc. come to the college and offer attractive packages. The salary range from 1.5 lakhs to 4 lakh. Almost all the students get placed. I planned to do a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college were 120000 rupees for the entire course but have got reduced to 95000 rupees this year. You can apply for many scholarships like the Swami Vivekananda scholarship, nsp scholarship, or private scholarship.

Campus Life

Every year the college organized a fest in the month of May and the entire college have to take part in it to make it a memorable event. All the course books are available in the library and can be easily accessed with a library card. the college also organizes sports day in the month of December. We have many social media groups for discussing various things.

Admission

To get admission to the college you should have given any competitive exam or fast class 12 with a science stream. The admission procedure of the college is very simple and transparent. The applications generally start in the month of February or March.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

Highest package is of Jindal around 17k and average package is 11k with accommodations. 85-90% students get placement. I am planning for higher study completing B.tech after getting the degree.

Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

I applied for BPC institute of technology..I cancelled that admission because I preferred this course because it was giving me two courses combined No.not rejected.
